2. Your favourite character?
It’s danger-journalist boy for me. Always will be. Clive had such a profound impact on me it’s both humorous and psychologically fascinating to me😭 his introduction, the mystery surrounding him being a little sly and cunning as future Luke, the contradictions, his increasing nervousness… then the absolute malice and insanity of his plan. I LOVE the smugness of his character at that point as well even though I tell myself that it was just a cope mechanism. And truly, I believe in the good in his heart - that he ultimately just loved his parents so much it shattered him inside. He really just needed love.
3. Your most hated character?
Y’all will have expected this as the other side of the coin: Bill - I-kill-people-and-cover-it-up-like-the-corrupt-politician-I-am- Hawks. He’s truly the SINGLE character in the entire series that does not have even one redeeming quality! Even Clive haters have to admit this.
5. Puzzle that sticks with you? (For any reason)
The mouse one from Curious Village because it left me absolutely flabbergasted as a child😭
6. Favourite puzzle type?
Ooh this is such a tough one!! I love weekday puzzles particularly! But I also have a soft spot for math puzzles! And match puzzles! Honestly, I love all puzzles except for the sliding puzzles that come straight out of hell and the ball puzzles from Diabolical Box💀
10. If you could make one more character a travelling companion who would it be?
This will not come as a surprise, but since I really loved the dynamic between Luke and Clive in LF, I’d have wanted to see them interact after the identity reveal if Clive hadn’t crashed out in the end. It would have been interesting to see more of Clive’s character since he wouldn’t have felt the need to hide behind the mask of Future Luke anymore. Also, having a father-son mentor-student dynamic with Hershel and both Luke and Clive would have been adorable. Just imagine them competing for his attention😭
17. Your favourite friendship in the game?
I still think that the relationship between Hershel and Luke is the most iconic! I can comprehend why Luke was offended by Hershel talking about their friendship ‘yet having to reach those heights’. I already know NWOS will have me in shambles after that one trailer🥲

This is going to sound boring, but apart from the ‘canon’ ships like Anthony x Sophia, Claire x Hershel, Brenda x Clark, Angela x Randall it is really Melina x Janice that I do! I’m really looking forward to the new game though! Ooh wait, I forgot: a little bit of Alfendi x Lucy as well. I love that she so quickly accepted him for who he is! It’s so heartwarming❤️

21. Character you would most like to have a cup of tea with?
Hershel! I just feel like it would be incredibly soothing listening to him speak of his adventures with Luke, archeology and picking his brain about the last puzzles he solved. 🫖
22. Character who deserved better?
This is so incredibly difficult to answer because realistically, a lot of characters like Sophia, Anthony, Flora (for being neglected constantly), Claire, Dimitri, Desmond (if you know what I mean), and Randall and Hershel!! Jump into my brain, but I’ll have to say
Because there was no need for them to do all that to a child, to make him lose both his parents in a fire because considering the fact he probably thought about his parents (and I’m not explicitly saying how they did because you all know and it just sounds gruesome) dying in such a brutal way for years and felt absolutely hopeless and guilty for not having been able to save them and being the only one to survive, it’s no surprise he literally turned insane😔 He was destined to end up the way he did back then. It’s so sad to think about
I don’t know whether this counts as a headcanon and if it’s fun, but I imagine that Hershel remembers puzzles in the most ordinary daily scenarios. In the shower? This reminds me of a puzzle. Doing the laundry? You know, this dirty shirt reminds me of a puzzle I once heard. His way of communication is puzzles. Therefore, I once shared that he possibly would have also confessed his love with a puzzle😭
