Another little moment from Lady Layton that I enjoyed seeing. It's nice to see that Dean Delmona saw that Kat has similar crime-solving skills to her father even if it's not exactly the same. Katrielle really looked up to her father so it's nice that she took up a career that in a way makes her feel connected to Professor Layton and to extent her big brother Alfendi.

I wonder if Katrielle has anything connecting to her older sister Flora. I've only seen the outfit that Flora wore during the original trilogy. If anything I would like to think that Flora gave Katrielle her old outfit as a hand-me-down or gave her a similar dress that's not exactly the outfit. Maybe they played dress up together when Katrielle was a little girl and that could explain why Katrielle loves to dress up in many outfits in her game. It's a way that she can be connected with Flora while the crime-solving aspect can be her connection to Professor Layton and Alfendi.
