[Closing | Indefinite Hiatus ]

As you can imagine, I haven’t been all that active here in forever. I love Psyn to bits, and that’ll never change at all, but unfortunately working on an OC blog in a community that just over-all doesn’t often give OC’s a go takes up a lot of my time to try and get stuff rolling. I just don’t have the time to devote adequate work towards Psyn, and to develop an entire world around him as he’s very much an individual character, more than directly tied to some aspect of what we already know of the world.

It’s always this daunting task of ‘I would need to write this and this and this and explain this and that’ when I think about coming back, and while I understand a lot of people already do this with no problem, I just don’t have the emotional/mental capacity to be one of those people, but I have oodles of respect for those who do.

So for now, I’m just closing this blog. In the future I may return one day, as over time my health slowly begins to over-all improve and I pick up my pace in hobbies again, but for now it’s just easier to put this out of sight, out of mind. Even the knowledge that this blog exists and is ‘open’ gives me a degree of anxiety, so closing it is one less place for anxiety to fester.

Thank you for all those who wrote with me or showed interest in my muse, as it is very touching honestly, and thank you for all the good memories!

Small Sword

Dated: mid-18th century

Culture: German

Measurements: overall length 91.5 cm

The sword features a straight blade of triangular section, with a hollow base decorated with brass and geometrical rivets. The iron hilt is richly inlaid with gold floral motifs, while the wooden grip is covered with silver-thread wire binding and has moor’s heads.

So some quick pointers cus, you know, new followers-

NOXUS - Psyn resides primarily in Noxus, however he travels a lot. His primary fence, JOELLE, lives in Noxus, so he frequently goes to him.

IONIAN - He is Ionian by descent. While he acknowledge his features, he doesn’t really think he came directly from Ionia. He doesn’t remember it clearly.

DRAGON: Yeah, he’s a dragon, of the Eastern style. But Psyn is smart, and has no idea. He breathed fire once and it startled him.

THIEF / ASSASSIN - Psyn has zero loyalties. He works for the highest bidder. You earn his respect, and he won’t thieve from you. You pay him well, he’ll kill someone for you without a hitch, or steal something for you. He doesn’t care if your the Grand General or Karma, he’ll work for either back to back if they pay him.

DRUGS / NSFW - Both will be featured here. Psyn does opium, and regularly has sex, as well as (surprise!) killing people. Don’t like it, don’t follow, my dude.

FRIENDS? - Yeah, sure, you can be friends with Psyn ,hell, you can be fuck buddies with Psyn, just keep in mind this guy isn’t nice. He’ll stab you in the fucking back if he has to. And he likely won’t give a shit about it either.

SWEARING - Psyn swears a lot. Cusses a lot. He will even, from time to time make uncomfortable comments. Don’t feel comfortable? I have no qualms with you telling me or unfollowing. I will try to keep it leashed to some degree, as he can be particularly nasty at times, and that’s a no-go on tumbler and upsets people, but he won’t always be nice.

Firangi Sword

Dated: 17th-18th century

Place Of Origin: Deccan, India

Measurements: overall length 1070mm (42 inches)

A large Indian cavalry sabre known as a ‘Firangi’. Firangi literally translating as ‘foreigner’ due to the use of either imported European blades or, as in this case, locally made blades in the European style. This blade is multi fullered and bearing the hallmarks of coming from the Bikaneer armoury in Rajasthan.

There are clues that point to this sword originating from Adoni and part of the armoury taken by Anup Singh, Maharajah of Bikaner (Rajasthan) when, as a General in the army of the Emperor Arungzeb, he defeated the last defender of the Adil-Shah dynasty at Bijapur in 1689.
