Did you actually deliver him a script with gold ink? (Two years ago, Carrey quipped that his return would require the angelic delivery of a script that’s written in gold ink.) I did, and it’s now worth about a hundred thousand dollars, so, hopefully, Jim has got it locked up somewhere.

I completely meant to get the next chapter out by this week but everything else got in the way. And my muse just DOES NOT want to cooperate.

I have a picrew below but here's a good in-depth description of her! I deliberately left her skin tone out of her initial descriptions, but since we know who she's related to now, I figured that not as big a deal.

TESSA

Thick, curly hair that is just beyond shoulder length and is a dark chocolate brown color. She is around 5'5 and big brown eyes, like a doe's with an oval face and an upturned nose. She's very much meant to be the opposite of Maria in terms of coloring and resembles her grandfather a lot, especially when he was younger.

I don't know how in-depth you want me to go outside of that, but I gave you all the basic details as well as the picture below.

(In my mind I use the actress Maia Mitchell or Emmy Rossum as a good reference, but honestly the picture below is the most accurate version of how I see her.)

I wasn't sure exactly what Daisy looked like / couldn't remember (im bad with fine details TwT) but I remember (I think) that she was black! So I just made her look pretty similar to my irl kitty!

I contemplated wether to give shadow socks or his shoes, in the end I went with his shoes bc I don't think there was anything stating that he wasn't wearing them? Again could be wrong, I have the memory of a goldfish, but still X3 (same thing with clothes, usually I draw Shadow all decked out but I decided to go closer to his canon look for this drawing!)

Since Shadow has been eeping for 50 years I don't think he would have known how to use a mixer? At least nothing at all similar to modern day mixers. Which is why this bit made me laugh so much, the first time I ever used my mixer (having previously only used handheld ones my entire life) I didn't realize I should start it slow, put it on full blast, and got flour EVERYWHERE lmao. I feel u Shadow

I have NO IDEA how both shadow and daisy have their eyes wide open after being blasted with flour, but good for them I suppose XD they got them strong corneas lmaoo

If you don't think that fanfic writers get attached to their commenters and repeat commenters... you're crazy.

There's people who comment on my stories, disappear for months at a time, then comment when they catch up and I almost always remember their tagnames. It means the WORLD to me as a writer to have people who comment both regularly and irregularly on my stories/oneshots/moodboards.

When you guys go away for a few weeks or months... we notice! We hope you're okay and just taking a break, and when you come back rested and excited to read more stories, we're so happy to have you back.

So yes, please comment on stories even if it's once in a blue moon. You're not annoying, you're not overbearing for multiple comments or being super excited. You're helping fuel a writer to keep writing just to see what you have to say next about the next chapter! You're doing the Lord's work with your comments!

Whether you leave a Russian novel in a comment, or just go "noice", like... it makes the writer brain go !!!!!!💞

There are a couple of people who have commented on every single chapter of my long fic who have disappeared before the last chapter

And I'm actually worried about them ? There's no way for me to reach one of them and I feel that if I reach to the other which I haven't spoken to in like 6 months or more, saying "hey I saw you didn't read the last comment of my fic" it'd be misinterpreted?

I won't say that I don't care about them reading that - they have been so crucial to me keeping on going through this, like other regular commenters, that I would LOVE to hear their thoughts about the end, but I'm actually worried about them for real

There are people who haven't read the last one and I am not worried because I see them around, so I know they're okay, I don't wonder about them, if they want to read it they will in their own time or not at all and it's fine, but I know they're still around and that's enough for me not to worry.

But these two I don't and I'm there not knowing what to do, just hoping they're fine and they just either have not found the time or aren't interested anymore (AND THAT'S OKAY).

Friends, I just hope you're doing good. You matter a lot more than you think ❤️
