It's been years since I used this blog but life is good (finally)!

To my friends I met on this blog, thanks for hearing out the really rough parts of my life and sharing yours with mine :) I still think about the ones I lost contact with and still love y'all <3 whatever situation and people/family you knew I was in last time we talked, I'm away from it and got a career now. I scrolled tumblr a bit and i'm surprised to see how filled my feed is, so I'm glad it's not dead. Just wanted to use this as a way to say hello to those I appreciate and hope that everyone is okay

literally i was at the gym with my friend when i got an insta notification as I was about to start and i see its from eminem. I thought oh??? whats this? thought it was maybe just a single because my mind could not evem fathom the idea of an album and i was like no. theres no way. Then to find out it WAS a whole ass album.... i have not calmed down since. i will not sleep. what did we do to deserve him

Interviewer: I’m sure sobriety has changed more than just your rapping. Has it changed your friendships?

Eminem: Yeah, I’ve gone back and rekindled some old friendships—people I knew from back in the day. I feel like I’m closer with everybody now, certainly—probably a lot easier to get along with, too.

Interviewer: How so?

Paul Rosenberg: In every regard. Literally, in every way you can imagine he’s easier to get along with.

Interviewer: So you feel better?

Eminem: Hell yeah, I feel better. I feel like a human being again. There was one point in time where I felt like…[Sighs.] I don’t know—I felt like plastic. I think I looked plastic…My face, fat plastic. I was eating, but the Vicodin made me hungry because it eats up your stomach lining, so you want to fill your stomach back up, but then it stops you up so you can’t shit, you just—That’s why I was gaining so much weight, I was just so fucking bloated. It’s a trip when people take sobriety for granted. Feeling trapped in my addiction and then getting sober—you appreciate it so much more, because I didn’t know if I would ever know what it’s like to feel normal again, ever.
