“Life” by Marshall Mathers

Souls are eternal, yet Marshall wishes his wasn't. Every life of his is haunted by a white specter called Slim Shady.

Life 1 “Chain Reaction”

Marshall wants the money, the women, the fortune and fame, but he’s too broke to even buy diapers for his baby girl. When his debut album fails hard, he’s desperate enough to sell his soul. Soon, he’s losing himself in sex, drugs and violence. And as the bloodshed starts, Marshall needs to take control: be a family man or become a hip-hop villain.

His wife is gone, his best friend is gone and Marshall is trapped in grief. The downward spiral is all consuming until he, too, is gone. Death has a funny way of putting your life's choices into perspective. Now he's a vampire and undead life has its own challenges.

At the imperial court, Marshall is a concubine. In witty and intimate verses, he collects vignettes about the life of the rich and beautiful.

What is Marshall's favorite non-sexual thing to do with Nicolas?

Wonderful question! Love that someone else likes them two together 💚

They work out together and do sports, Marshall is into boxing and Nicolas loves a good fight (though he goes easy on Marshall).

They also play games, videogames (older titles mostly) as well as board games. Nicolas often cheats, Marshall is very competitive.

They also watch movies and TV shows, preferably ones where there’s a book behind it since Nicolas likes to read. That way, they can share in the story together each in their own preferred medium. Plus, there’s much to talk regarding the adaptation process if nothing else. Also, Marshall has a long list of favorite movies he has to teach Nicolas, so there’s always something to watch.

Additionally, Marshall loves to talk about hip hop and although Nicolas has little interest in music, he humors Marshall every now and then.

Nicolas is into antique weapons, especially swords and daggers and stuff. Every once in a while, Marshall indulges his love in these things and watches a documentary with him or goes to a museum (if something lowkey can be arranged).

It’s going well at the moment. A little chaotic, as there’s room for scenes I don’t know yet what to do with, but all the scenes I thought of come together quite well. We’ll see if that makes a story at the end 🤞
