I dunno ha, I'm glad I'm finally in a raiding guild but they're not the most welcoming lot - I often actually get ignored when I speak unless I'm actively helping out, rest of the time they barely register what I'm saying, even in raid. I said like 4 times I was leaving so they could replace me, not one answer, they just had a conversation through it - Wouldn't be surprised if they thought I was just ditching! Now they've invited me back though, fun fun fun.

Well that made me feel a tad inadequate

First time raiding with the guild - They needed a dps so they whisped me over it and I reluctantly agreed, highlighting that I'm not well geared enough nor do I have pots etc - and I joined for Elegon, for which they'd come up with an elaborate set of tactics for. I decided to go on Teamspeak, which they agreed with - Though in a bit of a patronising manner.

I understood this part, despite the fact their accents are so bloody thick that I had to wait for the English-sounding one to speak before I could figure out what was going on.

But they kept highlighting the fact I was there - Acting like, despite the fact I followed their tactics to the letter, it was me that was messing up! I stood exactly where they told me to, moved exactly as I was told to, switched to this target, ran here, blah blah blah, and yet still I was the one that apparently messed up.

Then they noted my lack of pots - Despite the fact I had said I wasn't ready because I didn't know I was raiding.

Eventually, I saw another dps log on and abruptly left after the 3rd or 4th wipe because I couldn't take it anymore, saying I was allowing a better dps to replace me. Not the best first experience!
