“i know it is and i love you for it. i tried that remember? for like 3 months. it didn’t really work. i guess it’s not really something people like to talk about. especially me. i’d rather kind of repress than speak aloud.” he explained.

shane nodded his head as he listened to the older male, “that’s very heroic of you. well, uh.. would you like to come in and dry off or something?”

alex was soaking wet as he approached the front door of the next house, his rain coat could only block so much. he had been going around the neighborhood making sure everyone had what they needed. “hello?” he spoke loudly as he knocked on the door, “it’s mr. joel with the police department. i’m here to make sure everyone’s doing alright.”

shane opened the door to see the man standing there, “yeah, we’re alright here. wait, severe storm watch and they have you out on duty, officer? that’s a little fucked up if you ask me. excuse my language but it’s pretty bad that they have you running around checking on people..”

“no. i woke up and you weren’t in bed so i got kinda worried. are you okay?”

“no need to worry. i’m alright. well sort of. the scenes keep playing in my head. especially when i’m sleeping. it kind of makes it hard to sleep.”

“why do you keep on throwing the word married around as if it’s some trophy prize you’re shoving in my face? be proud to be her husband if you’re proud, but don’t be a dick and use that shit as if it’s some genius way to provoke me.” levi couldn’t believe the immaturity level of this guy. “if you were actually careful or responsible you’d be making sure she was protected someway, somehow considering the fact that she has a heart condition or is that just something you don’t think about either? oh and congrats on the wedding. not sure what you thought my reaction would be, but I would never hope for the failure of my sister’s happiness so, great talk. she’ll be on birth control by the end of the week.”

shane took a deep breath in as he thought about his words carefully, “look, man, i understand you’re upset because of this whole birth control thing but instead of controlling her life and trying to be her dad, maybe try to be supportive of her decisions. maybe she had a reason for not using contraceptive solutions. yes, i admit, it was a bad on my part but she’s not a little girl. she’s 18 and doesn’t need her older brother telling her what to do.” he sighed, “i know about the heart condition and it has been thought about. very much actually and i don’t need you reminding me about it because you’re not my father either.” he shook his head, “you can’t control her forever, you know.”

I swear I just created something new.” Callisto grinned as he looked at the other. “I was too lazy to make grilled cheese in the pan, and our grilled cheese maker broke so I decided to use the waffle iron to make the grilled cheese sandwich. Waffle grilled cheese. I’m copyrighting it.”

“sorry man, that’s already been done and there’s no way to actually copywrite a sandwich making technique.” shane told the other as he cocked his brow.

“that’s unfortunate. how exactly did you go about defending yourself?”

“I was gonna actually start college this upcoming year, but. I dunno. I feel like, they put way too much stress on that kinda shit. Maybe I’ll go next year. It’s not like it won’t be there, y’know?”

"there's no shame in putting it off for a year. that's what i almost did but ended up changing my mind and just did it. but honestly it's not all that bad."

shane rolled his eyes as he listened to the male talk, "eighteen years old, not living at home and MARRIED. she can take care of herself. i can take care of her. we are as careful as we've ever been and have never had any problems before. it's not like i'm not a responsible person. i have two jobs and i have a big enough apartment if it does happen. but let's put it this way, you won't have to worry about having enough space or funds if she did have a kid. oh and did i mention the fact that she is married? so at least it wouldn't be out of wedlock."

gianna: hearing noises from the living room, gianna sat up and frowned noticing shane wasnt in bed next to her. she groaned climbing out of bed and made her way towards the living room. "shane?" she spoke softly, and walked over to the couch and sat down next to him. "you okay?"

shane: looked up at his girlfriend and smirked softly, "oh hell yeah. i'm great. i have this genius plan." he said in response to the female sitting next to him, "marry me? and i don't mean in a year or two. i mean now. like we get in my car and drive to vegas right now." he sat there, a grin on his face as he looked at her. for the first time in forever, there was a clear thought in his head.

levi narrowed his eyes at the boy, he didn’t give one shit about what he was saying. “yeah, I don’t care.” levi said flatly. “start learning to use condoms or take gianna to the free clinic every three months for a birth control shot.”

a eyebrow cocked up as he listened to his new wife’s brother’s words, “ya’know, whether i use condoms or not with my wife is none of your damn business. sorry but it’s the truth and if you can’t deal with your little sister growing up, then i’m sorry for you.”

shane: sat up in there bed and looked around. he picked up his phone to look at it. 12:57 in the morning. he didn't sleep much most nights. he got up off the bed and walked to the kitchen. all he could think about was gianna's heart and this thing with his family. he barely even talked to most of them nowadays. the male grabbed a gatorade and opened it. he sat down on the couch and sighed, unaware of the noises he was making. but then an idea popped into his head as he heard tiny footsteps walking toward him.
