30 Seconds to Mars is ready for the next VyRT, on May 21, the same day the forth album of the band, Love Lust Faith + Dreams come out.  You can see the band at SiriusXM, praticing and enjoying the moment. [VIDEO] Interview with 30STM, Radio 104.5

This is only part one of my time with Thirty Seconds To Mars today! The guys were a bit hopped up on coffee (Tomo....) and they were feeling a bit chatty so after they guest hosted on Radio 104.5 we went into the Performance Studio to talk about the upcoming album Love Lust Faith + Dreams...and somehow that turned to donkey sex. American rockers 30 Seconds to Mars have unveiled a lyric video for their brand new track ‘The Race’ - you can check it out below. The band are currently gearing up for the release of their fourth studio album ‘Love, Lust, Faith, and Dreams’, which hits shelves on May 20th, and ahead of it’s release they’ve unveiled a lyric video for new track ‘The Race’ - the third track to be taken from the record. The new video comes via The Huffington Post, with main man Jared Leto telling the site:

30 Seconds to Mars almost ruined by lawsuit 30 Seconds to Marswere almost destroyed by a legal battle. The group admit their future was in doubt when Virgin Records and EMI Music sued them for $30 million in 2009, citing breach of contract, and because the sum was so huge, the band had no choice but to fight the case in order to save their futures. Frontman Jared Leto told Noise11: ''The last record we had quite a few problems. We battled our record company. They sued us for $30 million. We made a film about it called 'Artifact', a documentary that is coming out later this summer. ''It was mind-blowing, The number was too big to conceptualise it but it was very real. Not only was there the financial risk at stake but there was the risk of losing our careers. We felt we had an important and just fight. I am glad we stood up for what we believed in. Ultimately we were victorious and we are here. The story went exactly as it was supposed too''.... MORE

'The Race' Lyric Video: Thirty Seconds To Mars Premiere New Visuals (EXCLUSIVE)

Jared Leto's Thirty Seconds to Mars are white-hot right now. They premiered a song ("Up in the Air") from space and cast everyone from other artists to Olympians in teasers for the track's music video. But the band isn't letting up: They're debuting a lyric video for "The Race" exclusively on HuffPost Entertainment. "'LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS' isn't just an evolution, its a brand new beginning for us," Leto told The Huffington Post about their forthcoming album. "'The Race' is a song about the madness of love, life, the insanity of dreams, and about how - at times - prey can become the predator." Heady stuff, but nothing unfamiliar to the band's army of intensely passionate fans. Leto has said he recorded over 70 songs for "LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS" before paring them down to the album's final 12. "My songs must feel like discarded lovers because I'm continuously abandoning time," he said. "But that feels better than being sued." (EMI sued the band for $30 million in 2008 for breach of contract, a dispute that the parties have since resolved.) Watch the video above and let us know what you think in the comments. New song Thirty Seconds To Mars - "The Race"

American rock band 30 Seconds to Mars keeps on premiering tracks from their upcoming fourth studio album "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams" which is only mere days away from global release. The 12-song set will hit stores in Europe this week on May 17, and next week's May 21 will be the turn for the USA. 

The new song in question is called "The Race", and 30 Seconds to Mars released it online in the same form as "Conquistador", with a lyric video. There's another new song that was premiered recently, it was the album's opening track "Birth", but that was released online digitally as a 'countdown' single. Anyway, hear "The Race" below! In "The Race" band frontman Jared Leto sings about not being a quitter. "I'm not running, I'm not running" is a lyric belted out and repeated by Jared at the 'height' of the song in the ending. There's a slow part, and vibrant rock moments. "The Race" is yet another solid recording. "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams" is shaping up really nicely!... MORE
