Naga pred whose stomach works a little differently than most would think - their storage stomach is in the large snake half of their body, and the stomach in their human body is the one that digests prey.

This naga is special - perhaps a leader of an organization or gang of some kind. It's customary to have meetings with other representatives and leaders from other groups, and so, the naga sits, coiled up in the back of the room, watching and occasionally offering their input.

And then, in the middle of a speech by our dear naga, a deep glrrk sounds somewhere within their body... And a bulge travels upwards from their snake half, and then, spills into their human gut. The bulge begins weakly squirming and crying, and soft gurgles begin to sound as the naga's body gets to work, digesting its food. The room has fallen silent, with all eyes trained on the naga in horror - they're so causally talking while digesting a living, breathing person... And how many other unfortunate souls are trapped beneath those scales? It'd be hard to tell because they hardly make a bulge...

The meeting drags on for hours. Everyone else has fallen silent and starts agreeing with everything the naga says - how convenient, really! By the end of the meeting, the once large swell in the naga's human half has shrunk significantly, now being just a slight, subtle swell on their human stomach. The meeting draws to a close, with the naga managing to work out deals with everyone else in the room. Who knew it could be so easy? This whole time, all they had to do was casually flaunt how powerful and horrifying their body was... And perhaps even subtly threaten everyone else in the room - do as I say, or else this will be you, slowly gurgling away beneath my skin.

A zombie pred.

The disease started like a cough, but it never went away. After a few months his skin greyed and his eyes sunk in and the craving for something… moving… became hard to ignore.

It started harmlessly. Fish, frogs, just some kind of live meal once a month, and the disease would stop. His skin would return to normal, his face full again. Everyone would tell him how much more alive he looked and everything was okay. Just one awful, wiggly meal a month. At first.

Then it stopped being as effective. Sure, he wasn’t corpse-grey, but the color was still missing and within a few days he was back to looking and feeling like death.

So the meals become more frequent, and eventually he’s no longer even gagging when something struggles on its way down, but no matter what these small snacks won’t cut it. The meals get larger and, for a little while, he doesn’t have to eat as often. But then it happens again, the disease getting more powerful as his meals get bigger and bigger. He thinks about finally seeing a doctor, trying to figure this out, but when he remembers they’ll X-ray him he backs down, I’ll light up like a goddamn Christmas tree, how the hell am I supposed to explain all those bones?

And then he sees him. Handsome, athletic, and very much alone with his broken down car in the back of the parking lot. He doesn’t know exactly when he decided to do it but he does know that he did it every time the man heaves another pleading sob inside his stomach.

It takes days for his meal to digest, but the effects are immediate and last months. When the time comes, he doesn’t even think twice before making the next man his meal. And the next. And the next. Until he finds one day, meal still half-digested, that the symptoms are already back.

So he eats another and finds no difference. And then another. And then one more for good measure, stomach packed to bursting with partially digested man meat. His one cure no longer working, he sits for a week as his mind slips and his meal digests. By the time his stomach is empty, the man inside has grown foggy and confused. He stumbles forward into a wide world only knowing one thing: eat or die.

Love the idea of a pred whining and pouting while desperately rubbing their aching belly, trying to soothe it, and blaming the prey inside for giving them such a fierce bellyache, but meanwhile, the prey is quite literally fighting for their life.

Screaming, writhing, struggling to escape the pred's stomach, desperate not to become food... And the whole time, they have to listen to the pred complaining about how they dare to give the pred a bellyache. The prey is left feeling bitter and indignant - the pred is complaining of a bellyache, but meanwhile, the prey is fighting for their life. It's honestly kind of embarrassing to have been eaten by such a whiny, pathetic pred. That might even be the worst part of it all, honestly...
