Vintage Barbie Movie Idea

I wish that they made a Barbie movie in the early 60's, telling how she and Ken first met at that dance, and how their relationship blossomed from there. Of course, the soundtrack would've used songs from the Barbie Sings album. It could have been the greatest marketing tool ever.

I don't know who would've played Barbie and Ken back then, but most likely new teenage actors making their screen debuts in that movie. I also would have used the movie as an early bird cameo for Midge, as someone in Barbie's friend group who sits at her table in the school cafeteria.
