you can do this. stop sabotaging yourself and your dreams. there will be risks, there will be stress, but go on and actually pursue what you want to do. you will not regret having tried, all things considered. self-doubt can destroy so much of your life. don’t let it, please.
[ 16th apr 19 ] my second semester in berlin, and the last half of my ‘gap year’ before i go to oxford, has officially begun. i went to the art gallery, did some revising + had my first smoothie of the year. so happy and thankful that the sun is shining again!
PROGRESS IS WAY COOLER THAN PERFECT.
Happy Bloomsday – this isn’t Ulysses but my friend’s amazing copy of my next favourite, Finnegans Wake.
I’m pretty sure it has been more than a year since I have posted original content on my studyblr, I hope you are doing well!! Update: I have finished the ib and graduated high school and am waiting to start university in a month!
studygram: acadehmic

11/04/18 11:11am | I’ve been learning to let go of my perfectionism recently. I used to hold myself to a rigid structure and schedule and refused to change. Opening up my life to such uncertainty terrified me, but this chaos brought happiness, joy and contentment with it. My life is messy but so full, just like my heart 💛

this week’s bujo spread and some photos from last week’s trip to the tate modern :)
John Steinbeck, Tortilla Flat
lazy morning translating mon cher antoine’s organt with a lot of iced coffee.
Finishing up a paper about a book while reading another book.
GRRRR I’ve been staring at a screen for 56 minutes typing and deleting intros and conclusions for this paper and I got NOTHING. Wish me luck, I’ll be wrestling with ideas for the next two hours
fridays spent in the company of celtic mythology and thousands of books
Reading Harry Potter in French and the fact that magic wand is “baguette magique” surprises me at every turn ‘cause I’m over here thinking about a magical french bread
So what if you’re alone right now. Embrace it. Go get coffee alone. Shop alone. Drive alone. Watch movies alone. Get to know yourself. Nothing bad can come from riding whatever wave to self improvement you’re blessed with in the moment.

Made my first digital mindmap this weekend-thought I’d post it while I’m sick and sad in bed.
