I think about a year ago and the year before from time to time. Knowing I made mistakes though I don’t have regrets, just knowledge on how to do better. To be wiser than I was even though I’m still an idiot making mistakes most days but forgiving myself and especially forgiving or understanding others along the way. It will never just be one perspective. Empathy is a tricky thing as some may try to take advantage of it but empathy makes someone strong, it makes them understand. Here’s to continuing to try in the new year but never giving up. It’s okay to be not okay, but know that you’ll be okay again soon.
