hello hi!!! my name is john and i am homeless and i have a need/goal! i recently managed to get enough money together to be able to afford to spend it on an air mattress. i’m sleeping on a dear stranger’s floor at the moment, and since it’s hard wood it’s extra hard on me and my bad bones. but tonight, it broke! which is unfortunate. so while i was poking around for cheap ideas to help me in the bedding department, i ran across a portable, folding mattress. [ seen here ] it would be extra super convenient since i’m likely going to be couch surfing for a while longer, and i would benefit greatly from having a bed that i can take with me in case anyone can offer floor space or i end up having to sleep outside again. but unfortunately it’s quite out of my price range. i have food stamps, but unfortunately since i do not have dependents i don’t qualify for cash assistance in the state of illinois. altogether, shipping and handling and suchlike, the bed will cost about 80 dollars. so that is my goal! if you could signal boost this around or donate anything, anything at all, i would be extremely grateful.
