MORENA BACCARIN a series of unfortuante events
kidmunster :
‘ it’s a pleasure to meet you mrs– er, morticia, ’ despite his age, eddie is far from used to addressing adults by their first names, but morticia seems insistent on it, so eddie politely obliges – or tries to at least.
at the mention of her sons, pointed ears perk up, ‘ you do?! ’ he leans forward suddenly, pseudo-whispering to the other, ‘ do they like chutes and ladders – ? ’ a pause, ‘ or the version my family and i like to play… chutes and chutes? there’s no way to win, ’ he adds, straightening back up before returning to speak at a normal volume, ‘ it’s really pretty fun! ’
she lets him inside, and the doors close behind them. her attention is on the smaller boy, an amused smile twitching at the corners of her mouth. morticia doesn’t try to hide it. makes no attempt to.
“chutes and chutes? i’m afraid we haven’t played that game,” she muses, but then he’s talking louder again. he’ll get along with pugsley. morticia has almost no doubts about that. they both seem to overflow with energy. “that sounds absolutely dreadful---- i’m sure it will become a favourite instantly,” no way to win? it seems just what they need. “is there anything else you play? my son... well, he has an inclination towards things that explode.”

headdams:
@sheaddams screamed ; “ hey , baby , smile . ”
‘oh, but how can i, cara mia?!’ the man has thrown himself into dramatics. was still in his pajamas, despite the day being half over. hair a mess, mustache hardly groomed. it’s clear the man is hysterical. ‘how can i, when the funds are low, the flowers are blooming, and there are no black cats around for good luck?!’ he’s afraid he will not be able to provide for him family, and that is the bottom line. he clings to morticia’s dress, burying his face in her stomach. ‘what do we do, my love? everything is falling apart!’
a frown turns down her lips as she looks at the state that her husband has gotten himself ito. still in his pajamas. hair unkept, hairs of his mustache not in line. she hates it. she hates seeing him in such a way. “mon amour,” she’s pressing fingers into his hair, completely ruining what was already a mess. “we shall be fine -- because we are together, gomez,” she’s pushing him back until he’s sat on their bed. where he’s stayed for most the day. she kneels, suddenly careless in whether she ruins the sleekness of her dress. “we could live in the middle of florida, with the sun shining, stuck in a truly dreadful dream, and surrounded by those that twitter constantly, and my heart would still be cold. because we’re together, and that is all that matters. not this home. not the material things. do you understand me, gomez?”
morticia pegs gomez, send tweet
morticia vc: does he make your heart stop beating? he's the one
‘ uh - hi ! you must be mrs addams ? ’ syllables get caught around elongated teeth as eddie stumbles through a greeting, ‘ my family just moved in next door, mom thought it’d be a good idea if i came over to say hello - so, uh hello ! ‘m eddie. eddie munster, ’ a hand is clumsily oustretched in morticia’s general direction as pointed ears twitch in anticipation for her response. @kidmunster
opening the front double doors of their home, morticia blinks down towards the child now stood before her. a smile curling up the corners of her mouth as he introduces himself. a polite little angel, isn’t he? a thought ignored as she’s taking his hand. “please, call me morticia,” her smile is widening, a pleased look in her eyes as she’s bending to be closer to the boy’s height. “it’s nice to meet you, eddie. i have two boys around your age ---- one of them should be around, blowing something up somewhere,” she sighs dramatically as she stands at full height again, squints at the sun that still shines “on such a dreadful day, would you like to come inside? i can call your mother, if you’d prefer to let her know -- i wouldn’t want you to catch a burn.”
Mom and daughter
to experiment | to find a way to live | to fend off madness and chaos
Dear my darling son,
please stop blowing up places within the house without at least asking your father first. We both know he'll rip hairs out of his poor moustache if you continue to do the rooms that we aren't intending to renovate. You can have more money after you apologize to him.
I adore you, my boy, - Your mother.
@boyaddams
not to be sad on main but the day that one of the twins yells at her that she isn’t their real mother is the worse day of her life and morticia locks herself in her bedroom and refuses to come out until gomez begs her to . she wears fluffy pyjamas for a solid thirty hours and it’s terrifying.
morticia discovers early in life that she has polycystic ovary syndrome, which makes it unlikely that she will ever be able to have children naturally. she considers it a miracle from somewhere that they have wednesday after so long of being told that it wouldn't happen. they'd been trying too long with nothing. she couldn't carry children. when she has wednesday, she knows that this is what she needs. this is her purpose. she needs family. she needs to be a mother. they find the twins, and they are their children. they may not be biological, but they are her children, and morticia refuses to acknowledge any sort of slight or comment towards it.
she’s going to marry him one day. she knows it, no doubt in her mind.
morticia addams & gomez addams. ‘til death do us part ---- and maybe not even then.
he stands at the window closest to her bunk , tapping quietly to get her attention . when she finally comes out to greet him , the boy gets down on one knee , holding out a fistful of weeds . " i've picked these for you , cara mia , " he sounds so infatuated , nothing but dark hearts in his eyes . " they reminded me of you . " @headdams
he made the other girls shriek. morticia thinks that she’s in love. has been since that first day, when he’d stared at her from across the campfire and she had stared back. when a girl beside had told her that she had to be truly mad to consider gomez addams nice! that girl hadn’t come back the next year, leaving with grazed knees and hands, tear stains on her face. she’s almost giddy as she steps outside, and he’s on one knee. they’re the most dreadful things she’s ever seen. she’s in love. “mon amour,” she’s gasping, thrilled. taking them from him carefully, a smile on her face. touches his, fingers brushing his cheek. she’s going to marry him one day. she knows it, no doubt in her mind. “you spoil me.” she’s going to press them between the pages of her books. is going to dry them out and keep them forever.
me at stupid o’clock, feeling emotional on the dash: i love @headdams and @primaddams so much
