I know it’s been a little while since my last post. So much has been happening in RL, that I haven’t had much time until now. I bought my first home, moved in (well, sort of, it’s a work in progress), built my own computer from scratch, and have been learning some awesome new tools that I’ve been having a blast playing around with.
For starters, I’ve been learning Camtasia. If you haven’t used Camtasia, but you’re interested in doing video capture, take the time to download their free trial and check it out. You will not be disappointed. The software is amazing. Speaking of which, I’ve completed my very first video!
On several of my social media sites, I’ve come across the photo contest for the Blithe Sim and felt compelled to go take a look. I am so glad I did! It is truly one of the most peaceful and enjoyable sims I think I’ve ever had the chance to explore and it just happened to be a perfect location to try my hand at making an exploration video.
If you haven’t taken the time to stroll through the Blithe Sim, relax by the beach, stretch out for a luxurious nap in one of the many secluded, peaceful sitting areas, you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Make sure to check “Use Region Windlight” for the best experience. Check it out today!

If you send a Fatpack to your bloggers, please, please, please include either each corresponding ad photo or the fatpack ad photo showcasing all the colors/textures included. As bloggers, we adore our sponsors and want to blog your items as soon as we are able. Having a photo reference of the item can sometimes be the difference between getting your work blogged now, or having it added to the ‘to do’ list for later.
Invest in a self deleting script for your packages. I cannot stress this enough. I can’t even count the insane amount of hours I’ve spent selecting and deleting all the shopping bags and boxes.
Bags/Boxes/Containers: Do you send your items in a beautiful shopping bag? A gorgeous hat box? A plant container? A cute purse? Why not let us showcase that as well? Maybe include a “no content” version that we can include in our photo shots? Click here for an Example.
Please remember that these are just friendly suggestions. We know how much work Designers put in to creating, updating, sending, publishing, marketing, etc. and we appreciate everything you do!

One of the things that I admire about Gizza’s designs is how they call to mind a sense of personal empowerment. When you wear an outfit like the new Fortuna in this shoot, you can’t help but feel the warrior deep within yourself stirring, readying herself to protect and defend.

Don’t you just love it when you’re wanting to do a new photo shoot and the outfit comes together as if it had a life of its own? That’s what happened to me while I was putting this one together. To be honest, I had no idea what eventually I’d end up with because I didn’t have even a single idea in mind as I stared at my inventory with all the inspiration of a stump.
Leave it to Gizza to inspire and mesmerize me. This isn’t the first time that an entire photo shoot started, and revolved, around some of her pieces. And even more exciting, I finally found a use for the one hairstyle in my repertoire that I had absolutely no clue what to do with.
Sometimes I wear things in a manner completely unintended by the designer, like these flowers. They are actually part of a dress put out by Gizza as a group gift. The single flower in the ponytail part of my hair is supposed to be on the head and the floral arrangement I’m wearing as a headpiece is attached to the hip of that dress.
It is definitely of note to add that the floral pieces of that gown and this hairstyle fit together almost perfectly. I didn’t take any photos of the sides or back of the ensemble, but I liked it so much that I saved the copy and added links to the flowers inside my hair folder.
This color scheme reminds me of an old childhood favorite summertime desert, the dreamsicle. Orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream, it was like a little piece of heaven in the scorching heat. Heidi Felicci, designer of FORZE, sent me a message asking me if I’d like to blog for her. That would be a resounding yes!
She sent over a few things and I’m already addicted. The new Empire Waist Dress with Belt is so beautifully made that you can see the softness, feel the sheen and the silky folds of fabric beneath your hand. I’m going to have a hard time ever wanting to take it off.
It comes with 13 colors for both the dress and the belt and the option to choose either gold or silver for the dainty little buckle. Before I forget the best part, it is FITTED MESH. Designed for the TMP, Maitreya, Belleza, and Physique mesh bodies.
It is available on marketplace for L$250 (you can also pick up the demo for L$1) by clicking the following ad image and be sure to stop by their Facebook Page and hit that lovely little Like button.
I paired it with Reign‘s Karizma pumps which comes with a set each for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and TMP High feet. These pumps are HUD controlled with seven colors for the main portion of the shoe (the clear portion stays clear) and five color options for the studs and buckle.
Last, but certainly not least, I tossed on the Ailis wings in teal from Sakide and the Gabrielle in Aqua jewelry set from Virtual Impressions.

So it has been quite a while since I created a new blog post. I know that may seem confusing for anyone who has just started following my blog and saw all the posts recently released. Truth is, I just created a new domain and wanted to get it completely up and running and re-release all the old posts so that everything was correct before making anything new. But now I’m all done and I can make new things, yay!
You’d think after all this time that the first thing I’d do when I got back in SL was clean up some inventory or reconnect with old friends. Did I do that? Nope. I went straight for the shopping! First things first, had to grab demos of all the new mesh heads and bodies and skins and, and, and…..
I finally settled on the LeLutka Karen head and the Maitreya Lara body. After I decided on the head, of course I had to grab ALL the Glam Affair appliers to try on. Since the older ones contained only a single makeup style per purchase, I made a little visual reference chart (shared below) so that I could see them all side by side. The newer ones contain multiple makeup looks in one purchase on a single hud, which is awesome.
For reference and to keep things uniform while I tried everything on, I used the following head settings for makeup and Asia skin tone.
