think I’m watching a different show than anyone who is genuinely very upset about the Rat Grinders dying. like i do love when things that are not built to take death seriously do so. But fantasy high has always treated death pretty unseriously except when it suits them which is part of why it took me so long to get into. Zac literally said “this series is much more The Simpsons than anything else we do” in his bts like it’s serious sometimes but this is the show where Fabian killed a teenager and stole his motorcycle when he was fourteen and faced absolutely no consequences

having been into d20 for nearly 5 years now its getting hard to take all the drama seriously. i swear to god every single season there is some vicious discourse, and half the fandom decides the season is problematic garbage and the players are stupid and brennan cant write. 6 months after the finale and its all "best season yet" and "i miss it already". this has happened every single time.

That last pic reminds me of the time I was at the zoo and there was an ostrich standing near the fence, and I looked at its feet and suddenly the whole "birds are dinosaurs" thing became viscerally and intuitively real.

Biz was a senior who came onto Adaine several times, when she was a freshman. Dayne was homophobic and punched Ragh because he had a crush on him, and even if he didn't reciprocate the crush, the decent thing would be to simply talk about it. Penelope let her best friend (and six other girls) get kidnapped, with the intent of her being sacrificed, so that she could be prom queen. Like, the only person I would want to come back would be Penelope, but just because she's a bitch and I like her dynamic with Sam.

i know. believe it or not, i watched the show too. but what i am saying is that there is precident for the bad kids choosing to kill fellow students that they hate and that are doing bad things. so why is everyone now appalled at the idea that the bad kids *might* kill the rat grinders, a group of students who the bad kids hate and that are doing bad things?

#if you want to be sympathetic towards them like okay lol im not stopping you. again. like OP said I like them too!!#BUT a redemption doesnt make sense to me at the moment. things could change but atm theres not very much indication of redemption for them #and some folks are acting like not redeeming them will be the biggest narrative blunder of the century... idk! its weird and annoying!
