So I was brainstorming some HC Nuclear Throne lore and was thinking about the throne being sentient. What if it has a deity trapped in it and that's why IDPD hide and protect it? And if it was released it would wreck havoc amongst the already destroyed land- no what IF it was the original cause of the first nuclear explosion/world annihilation? And they are trying to prevent it.
