Martin Luther King, Jr. during a meeting at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, November 1967. What I love about these photos is that King is decked out in denim. Whenever I think of MLK, I picture him in a pressed suit, befitting his marbled stature as an icon of modern history. Seeing him in a jean jacket makes him more human.
