The Democrats seem to be, basically, nicer people, but they have demonstrated time and again that they have no management-skills.

They are the kind of people who would stop to help you change a flat but would somehow manage to set your car on fire.

I would be reluctant to entrust any of them with a Cuisinart, let alone the economy.

The Republicans, on the other hand, would know how to fix your tire.

However, none of them would even bother to stop because they want to be on time for Ugly-Pants-Night at the country-club.

Jobs!

Are any of you out there old enough to have this happen to you more than once? Your job gives up before you do. I mean, the place of business quits. That would be okay if I just happen to be turning 65 soon, but that is not the case. What is with places of employment these days? I’m thinking of applying to McDonalds because it seems like the only place that is capable of staying in business for a decent length of time.

At first, they were mad because I didn’t have my phone “on”. Now, I keep it “on”. So, their new thing to get mad about is that I don’t have my phone with me. Honestly! Maybe they could take the mad-thing down a few notches and I might actually want to talk to them.

I resigned from cooking.

It is official:  Today I resigned from cooking. I officially do not care what anyone at my house eats anymore. How serious am I?  I put 2 packets of stir fry seasoning up for sale on ebay. (I’m not kidding.)

How to ruin a perfectly good day:

Attempt to change bed sheets, most especially if the fitted sheet has already shrunk in the wash. If that fails to ruin your day, try to either sew a new zipper or repair an old zipper. Now, that should do it! Good days can always be ruined by fitted sheets and zippers.

Easiest breakfast (except for cereal) ever. You get 1 tube of crescent rolls and 1 box of brown-n-serve sausage. Roll up the sausages in the crescent rolls (takes 5 minutes) and bake them for 15 minutes. It will look like you put a lot of effort into it, when mostly you just stand around waiting for them to get done. While you’re standing there, fill up some tiny bowls with syrup and call it “dipping sauce”. See? In only 20 minutes, you will look awesome!
