Back when the craft kits were in fancy boxes with real materials to learn old-timey arts and crafts. Luckily was able to do most of them. I can’t even find pictures of the Kirsten wax angel ornaments kit that I did. The beeswax smelled so good!
The dolls also had doll-sized crafts that were much more elegant than the later AG crafts sold later.
About 12 years ago I was able to get the later historical doll craft kits new in box for much, much cheaper than they go for now. I wish I knew where I put them all but anyway they were also pretty good though less fancy. Moreover, I also did many of the AG crafts they sold at Micheals though they were not as good.
Apologies to the people who took these pictures online. It’s hard to find stock photos of many of these craft kits.
We're back in engineering mode! Mom had to move things around. Stuff just wasn't quite easy to use and clean just yet. Looking better!
We have a craft zone and an engineering zone now, I'm taking full advantage of the space!
I made a marble maze with corral to keep them from from rolling into the trash (for mom to fish out, oops!)
They work for eyeball ping pong balls too! Only design flaw was the tape on the bottom tube being too tight, making it squished so the balls couldn't fit. Loosened it up by bringing it closer and it worked great.
Need something crafty to do during your quarantine? I show you how to craft your own bantha using fake fur, felt, buttons, pillow stuffing and easy sewing instructions.
This is a great craft for kids and people of all ages! I made this for my best friend who loves the beach! There is sand on two opposite corners and all of the shells have a purpose. She loves red shells. There is a set of red angle wing shells and a white dove shell found inside sand dollars. There is a boat shell also! No hot glue was used in this project, as I hate the strings it leaves.
Materials:
Dollar Store Picture Frame
Shells
Sand
Elmer’s Glue
Glossy Mod Podge
Clear Protectant Spray
Right now, one of my favorite places to go on vacation is struggling with Red Tide. It has killed tons of fish, and the state has declared a state of emergency. Always check for Red Tide before going to the beach. It can cause respiratory problems and skin irritation in humans. For more information: http://myfwc.com/redtidestatus
