A friend was organizing a party and saw her poster was pretty shite, it didn't give any form of "bitch" vibe out of it; so I voluntarily took it as a challenge to myself and designed her a poster and Facebook event banner that perhaps could help to express the theme well.
This is the end result.
The girl is a stock vector image created by Duran Telalerra.
I was hired to do an emergency video editing for a friend’s group assignment back in 2011. Edited via iMovie; did my best with the given footages.
I have an idea to mash Beauty & the Beast with Chewbacca & Maz Kanata. I’m currently still working on Chewies fur, I know I screwed up on this one. Also, I've yet to figure out how to make it look believable that Maz is, in fact, sitting on his arm with that gown.
This is still an experimental phase but the idea is there.

Logo idea for a local group: Malaysian Female Gamers
Red, blue, yellow: Malaysian Flag The crown is actually an acronym: MFG
Duit Raya prank I did for my niblings. In 2015, they had the biggest surprise of their lives. Subliminal messages: 1. “maybe next year” 2. “wang kertas ini has no value sebab makcik you ni tak mampu beri duit Raya” (translation: this cash has no value because your aunt can’t afford to give you any Raya money) In 2017, they weren’t surprised. Subliminal messages: 1. “pray I get richer” 2. “wang kertas ini (this cash) has no value but makes a good bookmark”
It was hilar.
My dearest friend, @surayaror , decided to create a platform for Malaysians to share their best deals findings; I saw her initial logo and figured “yeah, I could whip up something simple and better for her” and thus, this. You can read her process of creating this website in this link: https://ringgitohringgit.com/building-bestdealsmalaysia-com/
Also, you can check out BDM here: https://bestdealsmalaysia.com/
The logo was created via Adobe Illustrator.
Here's the breakdown of my quick & cheap (as I could get) Jillian Holtzman of Ghostbuster (as close as i can get) attire:
1. Get an overall from someone who gets it every year lol in my case, my brother-in-law worked for Petronas and he has an abundant of this overalls but only in yellow, unfortunately. Cost: Free.
2. Dylon's dye powder. Bought brown colour to test how much it could cover up the yellow bit before I buy more colour to mix to make the right colour I was looking for. Glad I didn't, it didn't do much as I hoped for but that's close enough. Cost: more or less RM10
3. I did a mistake by not rumbling thru my Narnia cupboard before purchasing the silver goggles and a grey belt. The cost for those two: RM15 (utter waste)
4. A pair of semi-glove. Cost: RM15
5. Motorbike goggles. Found someone selling it for cheaps on Carousell. Had to find a hard plastic material and I was fortunate enough to keep some old assignment papers that comes with a cover. So, I Sharpie that yellow and cut it up, place it into the goggle and got what I was looking for. Cost: RM15 (Thx ex-gf @chr.tatti for helping me to get it!)
6. Ok, this one could have been cheaper by just printing it out but I was at Big Bad Wolf and I told myself a year ago if I don't get that Ghostbusters model fun book then I would get it this year if it comes my way, and so it did. Bought n cut off the logo from the front page and plaster it to the biggest badge pin I've got. Cost: RM15 (but technically it ought to be like RM1.50(?) for that tiny bit?)
7. Black safety boots. Cost: RM8
8. Duct tapes (black, silver, orange, yellow) Cost: more or less RM10
9. Basket strainers. Ok here's the thing, I didn't have time. I bought 3 because I was tired & couldn't calculate the right size. So, to be on the safe side I bought three. One should have been sufficient if u had prepared well. Cost: more or less RM9 (?) Actual cost: more or less RM4
10. LED lights. Savaged it from a Mountain Dew advert years ago in the Star papers. (I kinda wish I could have collected more of it back then) Cost: Free
11. Portable fan + bag. Cost: Free
12. Rest of the stuff. Cost: FREE FROM THE DUMPSTER!
Total cost: Physical rest + RM97 (COULD HAVE GONE CHEAPER IF I HAD PLANNED PROPERLY) Yet, still better than RM300 rental for a night!
Also, I tried to do a Screw-U pendant and that failed miserably. Cost: RM7
And Pringles if you wanna count that as part of the costume (which I would). Cost: less than RM5 I reckon.
If you don't have any spray cans on standby, per can would cost you about less than RM10
My Holtzmann costume is 90% DIY (10% are just ready-made)
