nah but fr mx were destined to be a group

1 - hyungwon & minhyuk have known each other since they were 19. hyungwon lived with minhyuk at minhyuk’s home when he came to seoul to be an idol and he didn’t have a place to live.

2 - minhyuk and jooheon met in a bar when minhyuk was 20 years old way before they were trainees together in starship.

3 - kihyun and jooheon used to go to the same church together

4 - wonho & kihyun were trainees for the longest and despite being trainees and basically competing with each other, they developed a close ass friendship to the point of making birthday gifts a tradition (this is why monsta x has a birthday gift tradition today; trainees ki & wonho started it)

5 - wonho auditioned in starship to be an actor but change to wanting to be a singer hence the reason he was then placed with nuboyz (jooheon, shownu) who then got put into no mercy you see where i’m going with this?

6 - shownu was so close to being in got7 but wasn’t put in the group last minute which lead him over to starship which meant nuboyz - no mercy - monsta x

7 - i always find it so interesting that out of all the rappers that could have come last minute in no mercy it was ck that got chosen

in conclusion, wonho & kihyun were friends. min & hyungwon too. nuboyz had jooheon, shownu and wonho. minhyuk knew jooheon from a bar. jooheon knew kihyun from church. they all pretty much wanted to debut together and all they were missing was the final piece mr im changkyun. mx were destined to be a group end of.
