sherlockxscott:
“Bingo, Carbon Dioxide.” He nodded, slamming the laptop lid down and pushing himself up to stand. “Now do hurry up and contact Lestrade, tell him we have a case of carbon dioxide and that the process needs to be reversed. If he asks how then tell him to research it. After the phonecall you can get me tea, I’m parched.”
“You could do all that yourself, you know, especially making tea.”
Nevertheless, John was taking out his mobile phone and dialing the detective inspector, getting up at the same time to head to the kitchen to find said tea. Only because he would like some himself after that constant firing at him.
“—–He asks if you could also tell him how him how it was done.”
Nope.
He’s not telling Lestrade how the process was to be done, didn’t that man have a brain? Wait, no, stupid question. It was obvious that he was the ONLY CLEVER one around here. Letting out a frustrated huff, Sherlock then got up from the table to look out of the window ; frowning at how sickeningly quiet it had gotten down below, couldn’t somebody DO something, ANYTHING? To cure the boredom.
YES, he had this case for the carbon dioxide but that was near enough already solved, naturally he was ahead of everyone else and frankly he was growing sick of waiting for them all to catch up. “Tell him to use his brain and log onto something called a computer and that I don’t want to hear back from him unless his has an answer that is accurate or at least on the scale of nine, anything less then I’m not interested.”
sherlockxscott:
“Hmm, and you also specialise in being brainless.”
“Come on, John. What is the one thing that could pass through without a second thought? The one thing that everyone has but it’s practically second nature –”
He encouraged, turning to look at his friend.
“Alright, alright! Gas! Is that it? Stop trying to test me, I just write a blog, not solve crimes!”
"Bingo, Carbon Dioxide." He nodded, slamming the laptop lid down and pushing himself up to stand. "Now do hurry up and contact Lestrade, tell him we have a case of carbon dioxide and that the process needs to be reversed. If he asks how then tell him to research it. “my battery is low and it’s getting dark” is so hauntingly human, so crushingly lonely. I can’t articulate the deep, profound ache that sentence evokes. It’s acceptance and defeat and terror and sadness all at once, all from one tiny machine we asked to explore the stars for us.
Yes, let's all be lovey dovey and take cute pictures of each other and give each other chocolates and flowers what an excellent idea. I don't know why everybody gets so excited on Valentine's day, love never lasts, stop being so foolish.

Lestrade vaulted up the steps of 221B. He had a murder that Sherlock and John were going to love. He knocked on the door hoping that Sherlock was in a good mood.
“Sherlock I’ve got a murder you’re going to love!”
Lestrade said nothing simply led Sherlock to the body. It was shoved in a corner with a bite mark clearly on the neck with no blood around them on the ground. “He was found by a jogger this morning”
“Murdered by the jogger –” he muttered, kneeling down to analyse the body as John gave a sympathetic ‘excuse him’ look to Lestrade.
The anaylsis took no more than five minutes before the detective stood and reeled off several bits of vital information.
“Take him in for questioning, he’s our suspect.”
“Molly has the other bodies at the morgue they have nothing in common just that their blood has been missing with a bite to the neck. You think this man is syringing their blood out at the scene and leaving the body?”
"Of course I do, keep up Gareth!"
With that, he walked away and headed underneath the police tape in the direction of St Barts

“Sherlock I’ve got a murder you’re going to love!”
Swinging open the door, Sherlock eyed the detective inspector and raised a brow.
A murder he was going to love?
For Lestrade to be this excited it had to be good, the police officer was actually up and not acting like an idiot, something Sherlock was already puzzled about. What case could this be?
“Do spit it out, I don’t have all day.” He quipped harshly.
Lestrade shoved the file at the detective. “White male mid thirties found in an alleyway with a bite to the neck there was no blood in the body or at the scene it’s vanished and it’s not the first one. There have been two prior cases of bloodless corpses”
Analysing the folder, Sherlock then shoved it back to Lestrade. Bloodless? Bite on the neck? It sounded ridiculous but so very thrilling at the same time. Would he take it?
“… Bloodless? Bite on the neck? Are you winding me up — No wait! Oh. -
Oh this is brilliant. Get onto Anderson and the others. We have a case-”
Lestrade had a smug smile as he called Anderson and Donovan telling them to meet at the crime scene. “We need this one solved Sherlock it’s scaring people they think a vampire is on the loose”
“Don’t be ridiculous, Vampires don’t exist.” Be spoke, narrowing his eyes as he made his way out of the door with John following shortly behind. He then raced downstairs with his hands tucked neatly into his pockets.
“Come along, Lestrade.”
Lestrade was quick behind the other two men. “Yeah vampires might not be real but how do you explain blood vanishing without a drop? Molly checked the bodies they weren’t moved”
"A syringe? Blood can be drained an hour after the body has passed. For a detective inspector you really aren't that smart."

Two years had passed since the fall of the famous detective and his nemisis, the world had turned peaceful yet a sorrow lingered over London, it wasn’t the same without Sherlock Holmes. Nothing was the same.
Having been hiding out in Serbia and enduring beatings for a while, Sherlock then returned to the UK after having been rescued by Mycroft. Taking a turn for the worst once he returned home, the homeless network was still active and here Sherlock currently lay - injected with countless amounts of different drugs ( all on the list he had promised to make ).
Pulling on his coat: he managed to make it outside and started to walk along the pavement, trying his best to keep in a straight line. The stuffiness had contributed to the headache he was enduring and he needed out. The detective was suffering. How the hell was he going to come back? How would he tell John?
Jim sighed as he waited for his man to bring him his damn meds. Faking one’s death and falling back on a hard roof had painful consequences. Literally! Now he had near debilitating pains in the back of his head and an allergy to any heavy pain medications…go figure! The hospital grade pain meds were enough as well as the painful Cortisone injections monthly in the back of his neck. A small price he paid for one dead nemesis!
He sat on a bench when a familiar coat caught his gaze. Dark eyes burned with hatred as he looked up.
Motherf….
He did not think, just reacted as he threw a pinecone at the other man, hitting him square in the forehead.
“You are supposed to be dead!” Okay, ow his head. Ow ow ow. He sat back down.
“Piss off -” he grunted as the pinecone hit his head and recoiled down onto the ground. For a brief moment Sherlock wasn’t under realisation as to who it was.
Seconds passed.
Then it hit him. Moriarty!
But how?
“So are you - how are you alive?!” He questioned, unable to process how Jim could survive a gunshot wound to the back of his head. “How are you doing this?”
Jim sighed as he studied the man. Oh, how the mighty fall… Clearly, he was not doing well judging by the look of him and the various drugs running through his system.
He smiled a sardonic smile, patting the spot next to him on the bench expectantly. “Isn’t it obvious? I’m you, I did what you did as usual. Just with more style like always. I’d ask how you’ve been but judging by the look of you I would guess a bit not good?”
“What are you talking about, I’m FINE. -” he assured the criminal, not wanting to give away any hint of being intoxicated or any weakness within him. Sherlock Holmes WASN’T weak.
Swiftly, he turned and moved to sit by him instantly being on guard incase anything was to happen, Jim was unpredictable and could turn at any minute: he had to keep himself safe.
“As for your little death, mine got more attention in the media.” He smirked. “And how does that make YOU feel? I can already see the jealousy in your eyes so don’t attempt to make a denial -”
He sighed as the man finally sat down next to him..two ghosts of their former selves, his baseball cap pulled lower, perfect disguise. They were looking for suits so he wore jeans and a ball cap. The simplest of disguises.
“Of course they did, no one mourns the wicked especially when all important people know you’re not dead.” He shrugs lightly as a shock of blonde hair catches his attention. He waves in a particular way that signals for her to go and he sighs. There goes his relief too.
“As for you being fine, we both know that’s not quite true. You’ve been wearing the same clothes for days. Your eyes are overly bright which suggests hyperactivity or high. Since you have not been sleeping lately this suggests high. Need I go on?” He drawled slowly.
“Is that your new job, stalking people?” He questioned after hearing Moriarty make some form of deduction, one that made him smirk slightly. He was high, of course he was, the signs were more than obvious.
“Brilliant deduction, it took you long enough. It makes you fall under the catergory of idiot.
At least I can do it faster. -
- Now what exactly do you want?”
He sighed dramatically, now his head was well and truly hurting he needed his meds as soo as possible. “For you to sober up and be you again so I can be me again. No fun coming back to life if you’re not there with me. I can’t fight myself….no.” He crinkles his nose in distaste.
“Besides, didn’t you leave your precious pet Watson all alone in this world? Not very nice that. Its rather boring isn’t it, being ‘dead’?”
He looked at the man, black eyes glittering. “I want you sober because I want to see the look on your face when you realize the reason you 'died’ is right here, alive and plotting one hell of a come back. Do work on that, won’t you dear?” He asks him looking into drug dazed eyes. Such a waste.
"John isn't alone, he knows I'm back. Unlike yourself I'm back in London, my name is cleared."
The perks of having an older brother who works for the British Government.
"One hell of a comeback?-"
The mocking was evident in his tone.
"Oh please, we both know it's going to be televised and some form of explosion is going to be involved. I may be high but don't think for one second that I don't know what you're doing."

“That’s because you make it easy for me to show off, if you weren’t so stupid then it wouldn’t be evident. Now again, how did the man die. Think, John!”
“You can be mildly annoying right now, you know. So if he didn’t willingly consume it, then he either breathed it or came in contact with it, or maybe had it punctured in- to him without him knowing. Did you remember that I specialize in trauma injury?”
"Hmm, and you also specialise in being brainless."

//Hey ! Glad to see you're back :) The thread you replied to yesterday is in my drafts, I'll get to it ASAP... and if you want to plot anything else just tell me... Sophia really wants to annoy Sherlock ^^
( Hiya! There's no rush don't worry -
Honestly though if you wanna pester me too just send me stuff >.> ♡
does it ever physically pain your soul that john can’t see, can’t feel just exactly how much sherlock cares for him? he always think he’s not that important. not in his own eyes, not in the eyes of others.
