Hello everyone! It’s been a long, long time. I’m just here to say happy 10 years of Sherlock! Our favorite show has now been blessing us for an entire decade, and hopefully will continue to do so with more series. Thank you to everyone who has been interested in this blog, and thank you everyone for letting me be a part of the Sherlolly community! Love to you all, and here’s to another 10 years of Sherlock (and Sherlolly! 😉)
Hello, my Darlings!
We all knew this was coming at some point!
Sherlollythoughtoftheday has been running for over a year straight now, with a new thought for every day. I've gotten a little busier lately and it's getting extra hard to post something every day, which you might have noticed by the few days without anything followed by three or four totd's being posted at once to catch up. :)
That's why I think it's probably best if this blog goes on a semi-hiatus for a while!
I will still be present on Tumblr, so if you have submissions or additions to anything they can still be posted. There just won't be a new post every day. I might still post something now and again when the mood strikes.
Thank you for understanding, my lovelies! This is such a fun blog to run and I appreciate you all giving me a spot in the Sherlolly community!

And one more thought before we go on break for a while:
Mrs. Hudson actually cries tears of joy when she finds out that Sherlock finally proposed to Molly.
With all of the time Molly spends at 221B, Mrs. Hudson and she are pretty much best friends, and Mrs. Hudson passes on her relationship... "advice" to Molly.
Once while walking outside during a rainstorm, Molly almost stepped into a deep puddle without looking and Sherlock literally picked her up before she did.
It turns out Sherlock can draw, and very well. He never really did much until Molly once pointed out how beautiful it was.
When Molly is home before Sherlock she'll sometimes try to jump out and scare him, and Sherlock is getting slightly concerned because she's getting better at it.
John: "I have to say, I'm not entirely surprised."
Sherlock: "Sorry?"
J: "If the machine, Sherlock Holmes, was ever going to fall in love with anyone, It would be the awkward and morbidly bubbly pathologist that works in his favorite hospital."
On the first really cold night of the year, Sherlock comes home to find Molly under a blanket on the sofa with some hot chocolate and watching a movie. He joins her.

Sherlock and Molly find out that they nearly went to the same University, and wonder what would have happened if they had.
Molly grew up with a lot of dogs and makes it known that at some point she wants to get a dog and Sherlock is very happy about that.
Sherlock actually appreciates the scented candles Molly brings home, but don't tell anyone.
Molly sneezes like a kitten and Sherlock has to stifle a laugh every time.
Molly can tie a cherry stem in a knot with her tongue. Sherlock finds it endearing.
While Sherlock and John are out on a case, Molly watches little Rosie. She reads to her quite a bit and sometimes goes off on some type of medical tangent, frequently ended with "but you don't know what I'm saying yet, do you?"
By the time Rosie is 3, she does.
