What is Dromomania? Dromomania is my TWST pirate AU! It is 17th century inspired and takes place in Italy/France! It follows my Yuu (Nellie Yuuichi) and her crew as they explore the Seven Seas, make new friends, and steal plenty of treasure! (And maybe a few hearts?)

Nellie is kind and charismatic, as well as mischievous. She steals from other pirates, both good and bad, so don't let your guard down around her!
She's the captain of Ramshackle, a restored shipwreck with a crew of undead sailors! She also has Grim, a dormant seabeast snarky cat creature as a right hand 'man'!
The housewardens in this AU are all captains of their own ships (which in this case would be the dorms.) They're known as the Great Seven, "ruling" over the seven seas. But despite that, the sea holds secrets even they aren't aware of.

Ruggie is Captain Leona's 'Quartermaster' on Savanaclaw, taking on various responsibilities without the official status of 2nd in command.

𖡼 Nellie and Ruggie's first interaction was a few weeks prior to Book 2. She had fallen asleep in the field one day after finding a dandelion patch.
Ruggie happened to come across this sleepy gal, and despite being a bit annoyed at her being in the way, he mostly thought it was funny and figured it'd be fun to be a bit annoying.
He put some dandelions and leaves in her hair, seeing how many he could put in before she wakes up. When she did wake up, however, she wasn't upset at all, to his disappointment.
If anything she was confused, but was too sleepy to say anything and simply stared. He greeted her with a cheeky grin and sarcastic comment about sleeping in, before walking away to continue picking his snacks. 𖡼

♡: Ruggie and Nellie's dynamic relationship-wise is lighthearted and loving. Nellie is very lovey-dovey, and Ruggie's prone to flirt. They have no trouble being a cheesy couple, and aren't afraid of being touchy and affectionate! (Even if Ruggie gets embarrassed sometimes, lol).
𖡼. Before they dated, Nellie was shy around him, but was still kind around him, often helping and talking to him. It took a while for Ruggie to get over suspicion and warm up to her, but over time grew to enjoy her company, even if she was a bit shy. He taught her how to fish!

Nellie thought he was weird, but also a bit cute. She liked his laugh and his dexterity. Ruggie thought she was a bit airheaded, but thought that was a bit charming. He likes her strength (mental&physical) and her eyes.
"When do they date in canon? Who confesses first, and how?"
They do not date until well after Book 7! Nellie is the one who confesses first way back in Book 5 during the VDC. Unfortunately, he turns her down, before later realizing his feelings in Book 7.
"What are their love languages?"
Nellie's love language is Physical Touch, and Ruggie's is Acts of Service! Nellie loves giving him affection, and he loves being helpful to her and letting her know he's got her back! They also do Gift Giving when they can.

Also the lil comics with Riddle and Deuce are just me drawing how they would interact if Yuuene was with them (I did a post on tik tok asking people who Yuuene could pull in TWST and I have been slowly drawing the characters everyone suggested and how they would be like together! (It’s just for fun, I would never betray Acorneel like that😌))
