OVAC Writing & Curatorial Fellowship 2012
This past weekend marked the beginning of a year-long regional fellowship I will be participating in that's spearheaded by the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition. This year's fellows all met—and some for the first time—at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The fellowship will consist of readings, writings, conversations with mentors from all over the country, and public presentations. The focus will be on the writing and curatorial practices surrounding contemporary art. Below is a list of this year's fellows and the unbelievable roster of contemporary writers, critics, and curators who will visit with us and share their experiences throughout the year.
