Today, 96 years ago, Marilyn was born. And, after almost a century, she is still an icon and her figure still has a powerful relevance nowdays, and I thought about that after all the controversy with her dress from this year’s Met Gala. Today I would want to honour Marilyn as an actress (because she was a great one, and I don’t think a lot of people realise this) and I represented her in “The Prince and the Showgirl”, a very conflictive movie for her (because the filming process was very problematic) but after all she delivered a great performance. I also used the imagery of the card of the 5 of cups, which in tarot symbology represents the emotional conflict and deep sadness.
