Local Tourist - Mackay + Moranbah, Queensland
Just before Christmas I took a trip north where I grew up. I can’t fault my childhood. I was always accumulating adventures with my friends outdoors, exploring beaches, climbing trees/boulders/cliffs/vines, collecting shells, catching yabbies, walking toward the horizon determined to meet with the ocean at low tide, learning new tricks on my bmx, acquiring new battle scars to proudly show off, and everything else in between. The perfect backyard for a kooky, outgoing little kid.
This beautiful part of my world is one of a handful of places that I call home.
