Maybe another unpopular opinion but it is not possible to understand the 8th or 12th houses from a purely intellectual or secondhand perspective. Understanding them requires direct experience.

I can always tell when someone makes a post about the 8th or 12th house but they do not have planets in either of these houses. Their explanations are often abstract, detached, or overly symbolic because they haven’t lived through the intensity these houses demand.

I'm not saying that posts about these houses from non-natives isn't valuable but I have noticed they often disregard what 8H and 12H people experience.
