I feel like Gwen struggles a lot with being the bright kid with super great intellect, helping Peter and being Spider-Woman when she picks up the mantle and wanting to be a punk rock star. Because she knows her dad is v concerned about the spidey ppl and she also knows that while her parents support her choices to be a punk rock star they want her to go into the sciences and run a company like oscorp because it is more stable and would bring her better life skills and stability so sometimes in the middle of class if she stops paying attention she has these small existential and like low key crisis about her life what to do why it exists in the way it does and how she can make everyone in her life happy without sacrificing her own happiness. She first and foremost wants everyone to be hopeful and happy but also like, struggles a lot to remember her happiness matters as well and sometimes relies too much on other people to find that happiness inside herself. Giving up drumming when IW comes around really is something she has a hard time with because she feels obligated to help Peter and Tony to make everyone in the world happy and remain that way but she gave up like the second or third most important thing for that to happen and it hurts her sometimes but then she gets all happy because like well at least everyone else can be happy which is great and its not okay.
