figured out the real reason maria keeps sneaking into tony’s buildings with someone else -- if another one of his doors starts asking her questions, she’s already decided she’s going to wait him out and just not move. (either that or shoot it, but she figures tony has already calibrated any questions to accept being destroyed as a yes)

so hear me out but

ororo’s plant of choice for tony is a moon cactus that she specifically grew to have a redish-hot pink base & bloom yellow, chosen for obvious color associations & the lower maintenance requirements of succulents. she gave him one when he retired & the care instructions included were made to be easily transferred to friday so she could remind him when to water & repot it appropriately. she also gave a care card to steve, just in case.

as the posher anti-sewer adventures duo fliers, tony & ororo will gang up on other members of the group to avoid having to go underground. steve? logan? nat? kurt? they have a wonderful sense of teamwork when it comes to “ convincing “ their friends to go into the sewers instead either of them. they don’t feel bad about it & they’ll joint-bully even if one of them wasn’t up for consideration to take the trip.

Why, yes, that is Simon Williams you’re seeing, Tony. The actor turned hero lands gracefully in the snow beside Tony, who was kept warm and safe in his heated armor. Thank God, too. It was well below what a normal human could survive out here. That said, Simon wasn’t normal. And he expressed it by landing wearing Wonderman swim trunks, rather than his normal costume. And not much else.

“Hold the phone, here Tony. Last time I was in the Savage Lands it was a tropical paradise. This is looking more like Ice Age. Did we make a wrong turn somewhere?“
