“Been quiet…too quiet.” Bruce muttered to himself as he walked down the sidewalk, he is not quite used to this kind of environment usually something would happen that he would spring into action. But right now? No criminal activity that he could sense anyways. “Maybe I am just expecting too much.” once again he muttered as he kept on walking.

He came across a bench, he sat down in it as he is taking a breather. Seeing everyone walking down the sidewalk, hearing the honking noises of cars. For once he is enjoying this, what he got going without having to fight bad guys. Maybe….just maybe for once he liked being normal, which is a far stretch but just this moment is all he needed.

          after he had found some new clothes and hid his sword away in his new home, bash frowned as he walked down the sidewalk. this new land was indeed strange, he had heard tale of it when he was back home in france though this was nothing like he imagined it would be. the carriages that moved incredibly fast down the strangely made roads startled him at first, though he quickly got used to it knowing he had to. he missed being in scotland with mary but there was nothing he could do about it now. “ excuse me! ” he called to the person that was now in front of him. “ i’m sort of lost, i’m new around here, any chance you can point me to a good place to eat? ”

          I’M TRYING TO WORK ON MY SOCIAL ANXIETY. it’s the mantra he’s been repeating inside of his head, a desperate reassurance to himself that seems to only ever contain a sliver of truth. regardless, elliot isn’t doing much to appear like a functioning, welcoming citizen — he’s draped in all black, wide eyes shifting around the vicinity, suspicion reflected off of the brown hue of his irises. he seems to resemble a fugitive. standard procedure. the coffee sitting on the table has been left COLD, as he had only taken a few sips before becoming engrossed in the hustle of people around him, eavesdropping on the snippets of conversation he could clearly make out, meticulously noting every pawn PERSON mindlessly filtering through social media on brightly lit screens. his inner monologue is going batshit. from beyond the deafening sound of his own mind, elliot can vaguely hear someone remark something to him.
