She who… wants to go gliding in New Zealand
Firstly, it must be Hang Gliding – why? It may sound terrifying but you zipped up in what is essentially a sleeping bag, so that when hanging flat you’re facing the ground but once you are up in the air in this position it is fantastic, a true bird-like experience.
New Zealand is a country known for its outstanding natural beauty so where better to float like a bird above it? I went hang gliding in Kaiteriteri near Abel Tasman National Park – a beautiful spot at the top of the South Island where they grow Kiwis (real Kiwis the size of melons compared to what you find in the UK).
It sounds surreal to say you will be gliding alongside the clouds – but it’s true, and it can also be more exciting. Turning and swirling and letting the kite drop are all thrill factors on this ride. Not only that but to get air born (in this case) we were towed upwards by the smallest plane I think I’ve ever seen, who simply ‘let us go’ once we were high enough.
I went Hang Gliding with a copy called Nelson. It’s a family run business, therefore they are very warm and welcome and all take part in the event one way or another – the Dad was my tandem glider and the son flew the plane that took us up. They are a great company, and I would fully recommend them. Â
However, in the same area is also Tasman Sky Adventures who I have heard are just as good.Â

She who… wants to save her nail varnish
I have heard a million ways to fix up dried or gloopy nail varnish, but I’ve found only a few really work (and no I am not paying out for specialised nail varnish thinner – it’s expensive and a waste of money when you can DIY it).
Here are my Top 3 that actually work and cost you nothing extra:
1)     Nail Varnish Remover – pour in a few drops and give the bottle a good shake (I have heard people say this ruins the varnish but that’s rubbish, I’ve been doing it for years).
2)     Clear Nail Varnish – add a few drops to your gloopy polish and again, give it a shake. Smooth’s it out.
3)     Hot Water – put you pot of nail varnish in a cup/glass of hot water for about 2 minutes. It will be as good as new when you take it out again.
Easy Peasy!Â
1. All Natural Shampoo: This is so important. Commercial shampoos have chemicals and sulfate that dry out your hair and make it impossible for it to reach its full potential. You can check out a review of some of my favorite shampoo bars here.
2. Use a Boar Bristle Brush: They are softer on your hair than other hair brushes. They also help to equally distribute moisturizing oils throughout your hair—100% necessary for avoiding unwanted split ends! Check out a genuine boar bristle brush here. Â
3. Deep Condition:Â Deep conditioning is so important because it drastically improves the strength and overall health of your hair follicles. Check out my favorite diy deep conditioner recipe here!
4. Eat Your Vegetables! & Healthy Fats:Â Eating certain foods can help your hair grow & keep it healthy and strong from the inside out. Spinach, leafy greens, bee pollen, and avocado are some of the many foods that help to keep your locks beautiful & healthy when consumed regularly.Â
5. Let Your Hair Dry Naturally: A common mistake that many people make is wrapping their hair in a towel after they shower. Your hair is especially vulnerable when it is wet, wrapping it in a towel adds stress to your hair that can lead to breakage. Instead of wrapping it, leave it down. Wear the towel as a cape while your hair dries instead.Â
6. Avoid Unhealthy Hair Habits: If you are wondering why you can’t grow long hair make sure you’re not practicing any unhealthy hair habits! #3 is the worst!Â

Great advice here ladies!

She who… wants lovely lashes
If like me you really can’t be dealing with the hassle and glue of fake eyelashes but still want to make an impact, then this is a good tip for you.
I luckily have long lashes, but they are very fair so need mascara to make them pop, but this trick still works if your lashes aren’t that long as it coats them well.
1)     Put on a normal layer of black mascara, but not to heavy – just a first light coat and let it dry.
2)Â Â Â Â Â On top of that, put a layer of white mascara; again try not to go too thick as it will clump. Let this layer dry.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Finally, go back to your black mascara and put this over the top. This time apply your mascara as you normally would. Let it dry.
4)Â Â Â Â Â If needed use a lash brush to run through your lashes to ensure you get a fanned out look.
Perfect! Your eyes will look amazing (no fake lashes needed). If you fancy jazzing it up a bit, change the colour of your last layer or add a bit of glitter mascara right at the end.
Trust me this is a winning formula, my family and friends have all adopted it!Â
She who…. is after a thrill
Whilst in Vietnam, you have to visit Vinpearl.
Vinpearl is a theme park on its own island – amazing right? It boasts to have the world’s longest cable car, which you have to use to get over to the island from the mainland.
Vinpearl is a waterpark, theme park and indoor park all in one. The fact that it’s in Vietnam as well means it’s more than affordable for an awesome day out. You can stay on the island if you have a bit more cash to spare, but to be honest you can achieve everything in a day if you make the effort to get there early.
Vinpearl is huge; there are so many sections to it. There is an area dedicated to a water park with various rides and slides and a lazy river. This is also a manmade beach by the sea with the finest sand, it’s like flour! There’s a theme park with the usual carousels, pirate ships, toboggan run and Roller Coasters. Also, there is an indoor park with a 4D cinema, arcade games and bumper cars. To top it all off – it has an Aquarium!
I may sound like a big kid explaining all of this to you – but why not act like a big kid for a day and enjoy yourself. Where else can you find all these activities in one place without spending a fortune?Â
She who…. wants an adventure close to home
I often Blog about doing something adventurous, but always in other countries such as skydiving in Australia. However I am British and I live in the UK and that is who I often address my Blog to.
So, I recommend going Forest Segway Riding – it is such fun and not too expensive for a great day out and trying something new. Now here goes trying to explain Segway Riding – you are on a 2 wheeled, up right, self-balancing, motorised machine that you stand on flat and facing forward (did that make any sense? Probably not, maybe just Google it)!
It’s such a laugh, attempting to work this machine and ride around the forest, off the beaten track. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not bad going and you suddenly feel the need to overtake your mates!
I went to Go Ape in the Forest of Dean (though they do have more sites around the country) for my Forest Segway Ride. It’s brilliant because you’re in the middle of nowhere with great countryside, zooming around the forest. The staff are so enthusiastic and help you quickly learn the technique of riding the Segway’s.
It’s such a good idea if you want to try something new today.Â
She Who… doesn’t want damaged hair
But I’m guessing you still want the style, just without the singed look from over using your straighteners.
Well below are a couple of tips and tricks on how to still have ‘style’ without the dead ends.
1)     For Curly Hair: After washing your hair, let it naturally dry until it’s lightly damp. Then tip your head upside down and brush it out. Gather all your hair (whilst still upside down) and start to twist it round on itself, whilst doing so slowly turn it into a bun as its twists (so that you end up with a twisted bun high up on your head). Secure with a thin hair band and sleep like this. The next morning take out the hair band and let it naturally uncurl by itself, feed your fingers through if it needs separating a bit more – ta-da, beautiful natural curls and no damage done!
2)     For Wavy Hair: So, same again – after you have washed your hair, let in naturally dry until it is lightly damp. Then separate your hair into sections, just 2 if you want big soft waves or more if you prefer tighter waves. Then simply plait each section (the tighter your plaits, the tighter the wave will appear when undone). Make sure you use thin hair bands to tie off the end of each plait and don’t tie them too tight either, you don’t want ‘in-dents’ in your hair. Again, sleep like this and untie in the morning – use your fingers to feed through the plaits, NOT a brush – you don’t want a frizz bomb on your head! Therefore giving you sexy waves that people will think is your natural hair!
3)     For Straight Hair: Now this does require a hairdryer, but it is still far less damaging than straighteners (also, set your hairdryer on a lower temperature if possible). So, yet again the same rule applies here as above – after washing your hair, let it dry until it is lightly damp. Then brush your hair through; finding your parting, so all knots are out and it is smooth. Spray on some protector spray and if you want, some product of your choice (I recommend Charles Worthington – Big & Bounce, Thick & Full Boosting Crème, covers all areas that way and isn’t too pricy). Then simply blow-dry and brush your hair downwards to create the perfectly straight and sleek look (which if you are doing in the evening, wait a couple of hours before going to bed and it will last through the night and give you good hair the next day). If you prefer a bit more of a boost to your straight look then tip your had upside down and do the same process this way up – giving you lift on the roots but still the straight look you desire.
I hope this helps save your hair!!!Â
Would love to know what you think of my Blog, She Who?
She who… wants to look good (and smell great)
Let’s not pretend - we all secretly have a stash of fake tan hidden away that we get out on the rare occasion that we have to show our legs in public.
Or every time you step out the shower you give yourself either a tint or the full glow.
Either way, you cannot ignore the fact that fake tans smells, and it really isn’t a very nice smell…. You know this for sure if even your boyfriend has mentioned it.
Well ladies (and men), I believe I have the cure for this. I heard down the grapevine, rumours that I thought I must try for myself. I’m the kind of person that likes to tan for a night out or special occasion, so I really don’t want that horrid fake tan smell following me around.
Therefore, after applying your fake tan, wait a few hours and then put Coco Butter (or Cocoa Butter) over the top. The strong and distinct smell perfectly covers up the fake tan smell, lasts and actually smells nice. Â It really does work; it has become part of my fake tan routine!
Now, don’t be cheap with your Coco Butter (same as you wouldn’t buy cheap fake tan). It needs to be decent stuff to really work. I recommend the Body Shops Cocoa Butter; it is good quality, lasts ages and is often on sale for a good price.Â

She who… wants to visit the Whitsunday's in style.
I cannot describe to you the beauty of the Whitsunday's coastline. It is stunningly beautiful in such a natural way, you almost feel bad about walking across the beach. If you have never heard of the Whitsundays in Australia before, please Google it now and take a look at the whitest beach and bluest sea that intertwine with each other. I think it is one of the best views I have ever been lucky enough to see.
Now there are many trips to you can take to this area, some are overnight (on a boat) and some are day trips. Now, not many people like the idea of sleeping on a busy boat for a couple of nights, especially when you can see the view in one day. Therefore, I recommend a one day boat trip… but not just any boat trip, I recommend Ocean Rafting. This team of speed demons are high spirited and full of facts and make the boat ride itself such fun – speeding along and riding the waves, you will get wet and bounced around a bit, but it’s great!
They take you on a tour of the coast, snorkelling, on a small hike to get the best views, lunch on a beach and as I said before, they are full of facts (they are very upbeat and chatty).
This is a must do!Â
She who… is up for a challenge in Malaysia
272 steps will get you to the top of the Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Malaysia is a stunning Country, rich in history, tradition and religion. Part of that religion involved creating temples and Hindu shrines within the Batu caves, situation within a hill. There are 3 main caves in total, all of which you can walk inside and take a look around. When you see the location, it’s amazing to think that people firstly created stairs to these caves and then filled these caves with shrines to their gods.
The greatest cave is at the top, a large open space with a crack of sunlight pouring in and a small, colourful temple sits in the middle.
Not only are the caves an attraction, but standing proud in front of the steps is a large golden statue of  Murugan, a Hindu diety standing at 42.7 metres high. This is an impressive size and makes a great photo when standing below, a small black dot compared the diety.
Just be careful though of the pesky monkeys that live on these stairs and in the caves – they are very used to people and therefore very cheeky. Anything that they can easily grab, they will, food, sunglasses… skirts!!
It is definitely worth those 272 steps, even if you just want to brag about that part!Â
