You Deserve Better

But I wanted you to be better. The truth is, I didn’t want someone better—I wanted you to be better. I didn’t need someone perfect; I just needed you to try a little harder and show me that I mattered. I wasn’t looking for someone new; I was hoping you would grow into the person who could love me the way I needed to be loved.

I wanted you to be better. I wanted you to understand me, to hear me when I was hurting, to stop doing the things that made me hurt. I didn’t want to change you—I wanted you to want change for us. Not because I asked, but because you didn’t want to lose me.

You gave up when all I ever wanted was for you to fight for me, and that’s the part that still hurts. I didn’t want better. I just wanted you to be better.

Alpha Mindset

Avoid people who mess with your head. People who say things to upset you. People who want you to make them a priority, but won't do the same for you. People who don't apologize. You don't need these kind of people.

I used to think communication was the key, until I realised it was only comprehension.

You can say everything on your mind, pour your heart out... But if the person doesn't get it, doesn't feel it than it means absolutely nothing.

In the end, it's the person you wants to talk to after each day, the one you share banter and jokes with, even though you're both too tired to laugh wholeheartedly, the one that listens as you go on about how life is treating you, the makes who makes you smile and cheer you up when you are feeling low.

Its the person who wishes you "GOOD MORNING", the one who calls you in the evening to see if you are okay, its the first person that comes to your mind when something goes right or wrong.

Its the person who understand your moods and can deal with your anger, the one who knows that you're not perfect - but loves you in every way.

The one you can share everything with , the one you tell your fears too, the one you share your dreams with, the one who stands by you work hard towards all your goals.

Its the person who loves and respects you for who you are, the person who will be there for you every step along the way - that's who your heart belongs too.
