Snow had finally found the guy who killed her father and she was finally getting her revenge on the bastard. “You took him from me!” She growled, smacking the guy. She didn’t hear her love come home or into the room where she held him hostage.

Artemis heard the smack, and she HAD to go check it out. So, she followed her love’s voice, and found her with a man tied up. She heard the line, and said with a giddy smile, “Love! You found him? Wonderful!” with all of her 5′3″ chubby frame. Her green eyes beamed, and her teeth seemed to sharpen in a flash of light. “What are you, or we, going to do to him next?”
Snow jumped when she heard her come in. She smiled, “I did and I haven’t thought of what to do yet any ideas?” She asked smiling happily.
Oh, she had ideas. “Well, dear, we could do him like he did your dad, poetic irony and all that.” She thought as she circled him, he was big but he would make lovely noises. “We could always slowly peel him, but that requires a tarp. Or, we could give him many cuts and let him bleed out slowly.” She was a bit of an evil genius of pain. “Nothing too quick, he needs to know he is going to die. If you want to kill him. If so, that is another kettle of fish.”
Snow smiled, “Killing him like he killed my dad is just way to fast. He deserves to suffer like I had to suffer all these years without my father.” Snow walked over to Artemis and kissed her. “He is definitely going to die. A slow most painful way possible.” She went up to the guy a smacked his cheek playfully with a wicked smile on her face. He whimpered trying to get away but it was futile.
After the kiss, she smiled, “Well, I have a tarp somewhere, and we can totally slowly peel him. Or, if you want, we can cut and let him heal, and then repeat. Should take a whole until he’s begging for death.” She liked watching Snow having fun.
Snow looked at her, “Get the tarp. We are definitely going to slowly peel.” She was grinning wickedly, He whimpered louder and struggled more.
Snow smacked him across the face making him stop, “Shut the frick up. You deserve this and more for what you did.” She growled.
Nothing made Artemis as happy as her beloved being happy. So, she went off and grabbed the tarp, carrying it back. “Peeling is messy, but fun,” she said to the man in the chair.
“How should be set up the tarp? Put it down and then move him, lift him and put the tarp under?” She was curious, and she had liked the growl.
“How about we put it down and then move him to the tarp. It doesn’t matter if he gets bruised.” Snow said pulling her hair up. “Do we still have those medical garbs to protect our clothes?” She made sure to take off her shoes an roll up her pants.
“You have a good point, love,” she says as she takes off her own shoes and rolls up her pants. “We do, I’ll go get them, and you can tip him over.” She walked out of the room, and found the garb in a closet, pulling out the two sets and bringing them back. She comes back to a tipped chair and hands one set to Snow.
“Of course.” She winked at Artemis. Snow tipped him over with pleasure as he groaned in pain. “Oh this is going to be fun.” She smirked circling him.
She smiled, "Let's tip him over, and we can start with the peeling. Where do you want to start on him?" She was thinking maybe the chest, or the groin, or the butt. Something painful. Probably torso.

“I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t keeping you from anything important.” She took another sip.
Fiona wasn’t sure why, but part of her may have been a bit disappointed. “Nothing at all. Just learning. I hope I am not keeping you from anything important either.”
“Nope, I have no plans today. And if you don’t mind me saying it’s nice to interact with someone who isn’t a classmate.” she smiled happy to have a new friend.
“It is nice to know someone in the city so quickly,” she replies. “So, what is the city like? All I know is that it is wet, and girls with umbrellas might show up to save you from the cold rain.”

“Thanks,” she said as she walked into the other part, and found a sweater with hammers on it and pink lounge pants, and she pulled off her wet clothes, and on the dry ones. She walked back into the main room, feet faintly slapping, to a cup of tea.
Noralovespancakes:
“Your hibiscus is in the pink cup,” Nora said as she was looking for some macaroons to serve with tea, “where did that box go I just got it yesterday” she mumbled to herself as she searched the cabinet.
“Many thanks,” she said as she picked up the mug and drank of the sweet tea. “It is delicious.” She sat down at the table, the cold leaving her body finally, and she watched Nora looking for whatever it was that she was looking for.
After she sifted through some more cabinets Nora found the tiny cookies and set them in front of Fiona.
Looking at the girl in her clothes, hair sopping wet but a smile upon her face Nora smiled back. “I’m glad you like the tea, a friend of mine is a tea enthusiast so I’ve learned to cultivate a taste for it.” She mumbled as the drank her green tea.
Fiona smiled at the cookies and took one, finding it delicious. “Thanks for this.”
She felt like she was being scrutinized by the younger girl. “Well, I’ve known some tea connoisseurs, but I’ve developed a rather abysmal taste myself. I usually just add sugar until it’s sweet.” She smiled back at Nora.
“honestly that’s my favorite way but I get scolded when I use all the sugar and have to ask for more when my friend and I go to tea gardens. He won’t let me sure more than 2 cubes a cup now, sooo I just got used to drinking it without.” she sipped her green tea. “You don’t have anywhere to be tonight do you?” Nora asked as she glanced at her gaudy chic lotus wall clock it’s butterfly hands resting at 3:15pm
She laughed a bit at that, smiling. “I am lucky I never had to do that.” When she was asked, she looked thoughtful. “Nothing that I am aware of. Mostly, today was for trying to figure out some of the town, and relax after moving here. Why do you ask?” She was very curious, and part of her wondered about if she could have even said that her other thought was to find other shifters in the area, if there were any. She thought not, to being able to say that yet.

She shivered, but took the girl’s arm and walked along with her under the umbrella. “Sounds good to me.” She did hope that they would be there soon. Getting warm would be good, and she could feel herself getting slower and slower as her body temperature got lower and lower.

“So what made you move to this town if you don’t mind me asking?” Nora began to fill the silence, the walk to her apartment wasn’t too far but the small girl detested silence.
She smiled, “Wanted to go on a bit of an adventure. I grew up somewhere with great warm temperatures all the time, and there was a job for a librarian here. So, here I am, freezing to death in a rainstorm.” She said it with humor at the end.
“Oh it’s not that cold” Nora said, then remembered she usually produced enough heat to steam up cars minutes after she got in. “Well we’re just about here” She announces as they approached an apartment complex.
She looked at her, “Some of us are cold-blooded.” Fiona had found that most humans assumed she was being ironic, not literal. “That’s nice. I can’t wait to be warm.”
“Hope your not scared of heights, I live at the top,” she joked as the walked into the lobby doors of the 4 story building.
She smiled back, “Rarely if ever and even not then.” She had experience with heights, due to a past girlfriend who was a minor noble, and thus a golden eagle, and who liked to fly with her in their animal forms. “Nice building.”
They walked over to the stairwell, Nora swiped her entry card gaining access to the residences, “It’s not much but it’s home” she responded almost melancholy.
She looked at her, “Home is important, even if it’s not always what you want it to be. I am sure your’s is wonderful.” She was intrigued to see what this Nora’s home looked like. She expected pink.
Nora nodded as the girls reached the top floor, there were a total of 4 studio apartments 2 located on either side of the hallway. Nora walked towards the far door on the right, she had started to fumble with her keys.
“Well this is it” she said as she swung the door open. The studio has dark wood floors and matching furniture. Different shades of pink were splashed across the room but the mess of student life was blocking the nicely decorated room.
Fiona looked around the room, took it all in, and felt that it perfectly fit the girl who loved there: pink and messy. “It looks lovely. Thanks for letting me come with you.” She did like it, and it made her feel like she was likely home.
“Let me make you some tea,” Nora said as she threw her school bag on the ground and hung her keys on their hook. “Do you want green tea or hibiscus?” She prompted as she as she headed toward the small kitchenette on the right.
She thought, “If those are the options, hibiscus with like three sugars.” She liked her tea very sweet, as a counterpoint to how salty she felt about so many things about this day. She sat down on the couch, after taking off her sopping wet coat and hanging it up to dry. “Anything I can do to help? Or any dry clothes that I could wear?”
“Be my guest the wardrobe behind the screen separates the living room and my bedroom, feel free to grab anything. In the bottom drawer are sweaters and lounge pants” Nora shouted as she filled the tea kettle with water.
