People be looking at Israel and saying to me, Saad, we’ve been boycotting for 2 years and so many people have, yet Israel is still able to do what it’s doing. How is boycotting even helping?
It’s very simple. The media and the Western Governments are pumping out massive amounts of propaganda to make you believe that nothing is working, when the entire U.S empire and the West are completely in shambles over this.
Israel’s economy began going into deficit months into the genocide. Several leading reports which investors use as a confidence marker in an economy such as Moody’s downgraded Israel twice. Israel lost their construction and labor workers and have to pay millions to India to ship their people and use them.
Thousands of Israeli soldiers have been killed and Israel is having to pull their “civilians” from jobs and send them into military, significantly reducing their work productivity. Reminder, an Israeli “civilian” is a military reservist whether in Israel or abroad, military trained and can be called on to serve the army any time.
Starbucks, McDonalds, Coca Cola and various businesses have faced major backlash and significant reduction in profit margins or requiring them to shut down many of their franchises. You even have Hollywood stars like Gal Gadot whining how their movies are flopping because of boycotts. You cannot say you are an Israeli anywhere without being shunned.
This is not what you get in mainstream media. They tell you, oh Gaza is completely flattened, the people are starving to death, Netanyahu announced this plan, Israel announced this plan, U.S announced this plan to make you feel like no matter what you do, nothing is working. When the entire system is collapsing.
If Israel is still able to do it, is literally because of the constant financial and military assistance packages they are getting from Western countries. They are being kept afloat as much as the Western Governments can. Western Governments are pumping out curated negative articles while passing laws to restrict and censor social media so you have no idea what’s happening. They are distracting you from being angry about their assistance to Israel with promises of “2 state solution” without saying that is a method to save Israel, not Palestine, or fake disputes between Netanyahu and Western leaders, or performative outrage over Israel’s actions.
The dispelling of the Iranian ambassador from Australia for “anti semitic attacks” they have 0 evidence presented for is a literal indicator of Israel possibly going to strike Iran and start a war (Europe’s sanctions seems like a confirmation). Israel and Netanyahu is super desperate. If it is being delayed, it’s because EVERYONE is working together to prevent this war from happening. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran, Europe, Australia, U.K, Canada and even Trump don’t want this war to happen. They are saying “look, we will let you kill how many Palestinians you want, destroy everything, just don’t drag us into it. The constant protests happening will drag us to a major mess. We are losing millions every week”. But Israel is reaching such desperation stage that they see no other option.
They know for 2 years they have barely been able to release hostages militarily, which has thrown their people into outrage. Only through partial fraud deals and ceasefires they broke were they able to bring back hostages. But they had to release hundreds of Palestinian hostages as well. And in the entire 2 years, almost 90% of the Palestinians killed were civilians by their OWN data. Meaning they are barely even touching the military, who has doubled in size.
They declare an area cleared of militancy, and declare that all tunnels are cleared, then out of nowhere their soldiers get ambushed and get killed with soldiers captured as hostages. And their situation gets worse. That is why Trump is trying to sneakily send U.S troops to Israel through the “Gaza Humanitarian Fund”, however people in his own party are dead against sending troops, and are even putting bills to have weapons for defence and offence both stopped.
The only way U.S troops can get involved is through a war with Iran. And time is running out for Israel. They having to pull another 60,000 reservists with another 20,000 in back up has them really stretched. And then Netanyahu expanding into Lebanon and Syria just to quell the anger of the people is making Israel completely over stretched. And then the resistance in the West Bank keeps boiling and they are unable to stop that.
Everything is collapsing before your eyes, and that means it’s not a time to be complacent and hopeless like they want. Hence why Netanyahu is now doing interviews, more speeches, more announcements just so you feel hopeless. Man is desperate as hell. This means you need to double down harder in all your advocacy and speaking out.
You are witnessing the collapse of an empire. This does not happen overnight. And there is no freedom in any country that didn’t come without insane levels of sacrifice.
Just as many empires came and ended before you, humanity does not progress but spirals. Thus you are simply witnessing a repeat. And it will continue to repeat till the end of times.
