One thing about tr OCs that annoys me: the girl who joins the Toman/Black Dragons. I think it's nonsense and the authors completely forget about character politics. Shinichiro and Manjiro would never accept a woman into their gang, even if she could fight. Not because "they're sexist" but more to protect the girl from further trouble. Even if a girl knows how to fight and stand up for herself, no one knows what enemy gangs can do to her in the future

If people want their girl OCs to be in a gang so badly, why don't they create oc in sukeban? It's even an interesting idea: imagine a girl who for some reason wanted to join a gang but everyone refused her because she's a woman and doesn't belong there. After that, she created her own sukeban gang and started doing the same things as other gangs. Especially fights for territory. And then there was a meeting with Toman/Black Dragons. In short, this can be thought out very interestingly. Maybee someone has such oc but I've never seen one

I remembered that Shinichiro's theory existed and wanted to find some screenshots of that post to read it, just out of curiosity. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything except this tik tok video. And it made me want to talk about it

As I understood the theory was about Shinichiro not being who he actually is. I don't know exactly what was written in the original post, but the idea itself that Shinichiro was actually the villain wasn't bad for its time. It even turned out to be true that Shinichiro isn't as angelic as people say about him in the manga. BUT. The take that Shinichiro groomed Izana and Manjiro is complete nonsense. Even the arguments from the video are just stupid. If you don't delve into the manga and the characters themselves, it might seem somewhat logical on the first read. But the arguments are very weak

"Manjiro doesn't smile at Shinichiro" so what? Why should that mean anything? Manjiro seems to be a character who doesn't smile when he's calm. That's normal?? Why does the author think this means Manjiro isn't comfortable with Shinichiro? That's not how it works

The talk about "Manjiro calling Shinichiro by his name" is also bullshit. I don't think Wakui put THAT much meaning into it. Maybe he just wanted to show that Shinichiro was special to Manjiro. Not because they had some weird relationship but because Shinichiro literally replaced his father, he raised Mikey himself. That's why their bond is so strong. Stronger than with his other siblings

And what about Izana? That's where it gets really difficult. Because Shinichiro was genuinely a bad brother to Izana. Tbh I myself don't really understand the meaning behind some of his actions. I myself don't understand why Shinichiro didn't tell Manjiro and Emma about Izana, why Shinichiro hid his letters. I think the problem here is that Wakui just dropped it and didn't explain it at all. But I don't think Shinichiro did it to hide their "forbidden romantic (ew) relationship" with each other. It makes me sick that people actually find something strange in Shinichiro's words "It doesn't change anything between us." There's a completely different meaning there. Why do people have to think that Shinichiro was grooming Izana? If in reality Shinichiro was hiding the fact that Izana was not their blood brother and was trying to explain that they were still brothers despite not being blood ones. How do people even read manga? With their asses?

I wonder who decided that Shinichiro's 20 rejections are from 20 different girls? The character information in english says something like "was rejected 20 times by his crush." His crush!! Not crushes. Ngl my english is very bad and maybe "crush" can be used even if you're talking about multiple people BUT STILL. Reject 20 times from one girl sounds more logical than reject from 20 different girls. Maybe I'm romanticizing Shinichiro too much but I really don't see him as a womanizer. Even if he had 20 girls, I have a theory that he confused sympathy with love. Like, every time he felt sympathy for a girl he thought it was love, quickly became attached, already imagining his whole life with her, and then was sad that it was not mutual lol

Edit: Okay, I remembered the manga panel where Manjiro said Shinichiro chases after every skirt.. That's probably why the fandom thought that 20 rejections are from different girls

A little more about Rei after Shinichiro's death:

I think it's not surprising that after Shinichiro's death Rei was in a terrible mental state. At first, after what happened she couldn't even believe that Shinichiro was no longer around. She still felt like she could feel him around her, hear him. She would unconsciously start talking into the void when she wanted to tell Shinichiro something. She slept only on her side of the bed, placing Shinichiro's t-shirt on his side. She wrote to him constantly, refusing to accept the fact that she would never receive an answer. While she was in a state of shock, she still tried to live, she tried to take care of Manjiro and Emma, she knew that it was probably more difficult for them than for her. But over time, the realization came and it hit her with a new wave. Rei was deeply depressed. She stopped living. Just existing. She stopped eating normally, washing, taking care of herself, her hair was falling out from stress, her eyes were empty and her body lost weight. She suffered with nervous breakdowns and withnightmares. It got to the point where she began hallucinating Shinichiro, causing her to cry constantly. It was at that moment that she was left alone, with no one by her side. She stopped interacting with Shinichiro's siblings. Especially with Manjiro. She couldn't look into his eyes, which were the same as Shinichiro's. She was simply ashamed to show herself in front of Emma. They were worried about Rei too but no matter how hard they tried, she pushed them away painfully and in the end they gave up. The only one who remained in Rei's life was Wakasa. It so happened that during the most difficult period, it was her "enemy" who began to take care of her. Wakasa had a spare key to their house, so he would come over uninvited. He would buy groceries, cook, make her eat, take her outside, even wash her (not something erotic). No, there was no love between them. Wakasa wasn't her second chance at happiness. He helped her because he knew it would be Shinichiro's last wish. He felt indebted to his friend. And it was at that moment that Wakasa realized how strong their love was. Wakasa felt ashamed of his past behavior towards Rei. He was still rude to her but he still came for her, take care of her like she was a kid, make sure she was still alive. But one day he was late

Okay so I thought it would be cool to write about Rei's relationship with Shinichiro's friends. I'm sure Rei wouldn't have trusted them at first and would have considered them weird

From afar, she admired Keizo and his muscles. At first, she tried not to stare at him too long but she really wanted to ask what kind of training he did. As Rei grew more confident with age, she and Keizo became good friends and began going to the gym together. Not like they're close, just gym friends

Since Rei used to be very quiet and awkward in her teenage ages until she turned 16, at first she avoided all of Shinichiro's friends and everything connected with his gang. But then she became best friends with Takeomi. They had such a strong connection that Shinichiro even got jealous sometimes (He was used to Wakasa stealing his girls, but this time it was Takeomi huh). Even though I have an idea that Takeomi could have been a bit of a womanizer in the past, he still had nothing with Rei, he knew the boundaries between them

Ohhh and what about Wakasa.. They fucking hated each other. In fact, of the two of them it was Wakasa who actually felt hatred. Rei never understood why he was so aggressive with her, her defensive reaction was to copy his hate and use it on him too, although in reality she was neutral towards him and didn't mind being in good terms. They were constantly fighting with each other when they were together. Rei teased him that he was gay and was just jealous of Shinichiro, she said that HE needed to stay away from her boyfriend lol. Why didn't Wakasa like Rei? Because he didn't trust her. Wakasa saw how badly the rejections affected Shinichiro and when Rei appeared, he was worried about his friend and thought that Rei was just playing with Shinichiro, that she won't stay with him for long. This is funny that after Shinichiro's death, Wakasa was the only one who remained with Rei

I know I already wrote about this on my blog but my ass is burning again. WHY are there almost no normal artists with Shinichiro? Many artists who draw Shinichiro very beautifully turn out to be problematic and love incest between Shinichiro and Manjiro/Izana. What. The. Hell. Are. Wrong. With you guys. I'm sad that there's so little content with Shin out there and half of it is definitely some weird incest or pedophilia shit. Almost all nsfw art with Shinichiro is just fucking incest with Manjiro and Izana or some crap with Takemichi. Many fics depict Shinichiro with such tendencies. There are so many fanfics with Shinichiro x reader where Shinichiro plays the role of a brother, step brother OR EVEN FUCKING DAD??? (Yep, I actually saw this) This really spoils the impression of the character himself. Yes, Shinichiro has his own flaws but it's not fucking incest or pedophilia. Shinichiro loves children, they trust him, but he would never do something like that. Why are all characters with older brother/father vibes need to be so ruined by the fandom?

Rei is very jealous of Shinichiro when it comes to his bikes. Because of them, she stopped coming to his workshop because every time she had to hear him talking to them: "Come on baby don't disappoint me today", "You look so gorgeous", "that's my good girl" During their arguments, Rei would always end up yelling "Go to your whores!!!" referring to his precious motorcycles

Some time before August 14th, Shinichiro began to devote all his time to work which disappointed Rei. She missed his attention. She missed Shinichiro's presence in her life. Every time they agreed to go somewhere or spend time together, Shinichiro would end up forgetting or being extremely late. This led to frequent arguments. This hurt Rei and she began to worry that their relationship was fading. When Shinichiro finally realized this problem, he promised her that he would plan the best date for them and that after work he would be all hers. This calmed Rei down a bit. On the morning of August 14th, Rei walked Shinichiro to work as usual. She was in a good mood so she teased him about not forgetting their date this time. Shinichiro laughed and told her that everything would be fine this time. Before leaving, Shinichiro hugged her. But he felt a strange feeling and just for sure he hugged her tighter. The hug lasted longer than usual, Rei was pleasantly surprised by his affection. Shinichiro kissed her like there was no tomorrow and ran away, telling her that he simply felt a strong love for her.

Their date was supposed to be at their house. Rei prepared dinner, set the table, even dressed up for him and began waiting. But time passed, there was no call from Shinichiro. Rei decided not to get angry ahead of time. She knew Manjiro's birthday was coming up soon and Shinichiro was spending all his time on his gift. It wouldn't matter if he was a little late. Right?

But enough time has passed since the beginning of their date. He forgot. He forgot again. How could he do this? Rei was furious. She wanted to smash the entire table but she held back. Rei was already imagining how a new argument would start in the morning, how she would yell and scold him, how Shinichiro would look at the floor guiltily not daring to say something. But there was no morning for them. Some time later, Rei received a call. Shinichiro had died that night.

I feel like Rei could dance some Caucasian dances. She is not from the Caucasus yeah but she has armenian friend, who would often take her to other people's weddings. Although Rei didn't like noisy, crowded places in the past, she loved these dances and learned how to dance them

Just imagine Shinichiro and Rei's wedding in a good timeline: Rei at some random moment bursting into this kind of dance out of happiness. I think it would be surprising for many people lmao

Btw I think Shinichiro and Rei would have had two weddings. The first would be according to japanese traditions, the second according to egyptian/arabic traditions

Now i hate hc for bf!Shinichiro where he takes his girlfriend to his workshop so she can watch him fix motorcycles. Like I spend four hours a day at the car repair shop, I just stand!! there and watch. I don't even have anywhere to sit. My back hasn't thanked me lol. Now when I see headcanons like this for Shinichiro, my back immediately starts to hurt

But I'm sure Shinichiro would be a smart guy and would buy a mini sofa for his workshop especially for his girlfriend so she could watch him comfortably

Shinichiro has a habit of patting people on the head, especially if they are children. I have a headcanon that Shinichiro also likes to pat person's head during hugs. He especially loves to do this with his lover: one hand on the waist, the other holding the back of the head, running his fingers through the hair. Shinichiro gives the best and most comfortable hugs. In his arms you feel safety and love
