Hero was sitting on a cold concrete floor, their back against even more concrete. Hero, upon opening their eyes, realized their situation and bolted forward. It only resulted in them hissing in pain from their wrists being shackled to the wall.
They looked up only to see Villain in front of them, staring. The Hero pulled at their arms on the wall.
“Now, now, I don’t need my prized Hero escaping.. Stop pulling at the shackles on your wrists, it will only irritate them,” Villain hummed.
“Wha- Why would you even care about the health of my wrists?! You locked me here in the first place!” Hero shouted angrily.
Villain brought a finger to Hero’s lips, which in turn made Hero flush from embarrassment. “Shh Shh Shh. You are mine now precious Hero, I can’t have you in worse condition than you already are, can I?”
“Then don’t attach me to a wall!”
“That also wouldn’t be ideal angry little Hero. The usage of our hands is the most convenient way for anyone to escape imprisonment,” they paused for a moment before continuing,” you should consider yourself lucky that I mercily let you live, unlike other heroes before you.”
Hoping they misheard Villain the day of their defeat, Hero voiced a question,”Why am I not dead yet like the other heroes you brought down anyways..”
Villain laughed,” Did you forget dearie? I told you I still needed to conquer something well, someone, and that happens to be you.”
“That doesn’t seem to be going great for you, because, you know, I’m starving and thirsty!”
Villain tilted their head to the side, smiling and observing the hero, “If I remember correctly you were not so eager the other night.”
“Wha- I- No!” Their face was red from shame that their statement could at all be taken that far out of context,” I have no food and nothing to drink! I don’t mean the want for actual people! To add to that, my injuries will most likely become infected soon enough!” Hero looked down at their many wounds. Dried blood was caked all over their body, just begging to become infected with harmful bacteria.
“Hm.. how disappointing.”
“How is that- How is that disappointing?! Shouldn’t that be expected?”
“I said you weren’t to receive food, water, or medical attention until I said so.” Villain observed Hero with a gaze that a predator would use when watching their prey.
Hero was swiftly interrupted by Villain who now looked cold and almost murderous. “No Hero. No more complaints. You are here under my base. And as such, you will listen only to me. You have been ungrateful to me and this is the punishment you will receive.”
Hero stared wide eyed at the villain standing before them.
“And until you behave, you will receive the bare minimum, enough to keep you alive.”
Villain stalked to the metal doors of Hero’s confinement.
They looked back at the Hero who decided to go limp in their spot against the wall.
“I will make you mine with any means necessary.”
