apples get me thru the hardest times

like maybe some apples are funky and i did have a period of time for about two years following a very traumatic apple event (i but into an apple and there was like a rotting worm thingy inside and it tasted SO BAD and the texture was SO HORRIBLE) that i didn’t eat apples for like two years after

then i rediscovered apples last year

ok story time

someone last year in my last class of the day offered me an apple. i ate it during this presentation thing that someone came to do to advertise some course option we could take the next year (don’t remember much abt it but the presenter got more questions abt her hair care routine than the class lmao)

anyways im eating this apple right. standing with a group of people in the back of the class bc small classroom/not enough seats. and im js. chomping down on this apple. juice running down my arms. loudest thing in the classroom when miss luscious locks takes a pause. i thought this kid DRUGGED ME the apple was so good. i was hungry but MAN i have NEVER tasted a better apple IN MY LIFEEE

it was incredible. i confronted the dude abt it. we were kinda friends. he was like. “cosmic. crisp.” i lost my mind for the next few days absolutely addicted to this apple

i didn’t know where to get it and the supermarket he said he got it from was kinda far to go js for an apple

BUT THEN

i got it

idk if our go-to store started stocking them or what but WE STARTED GETTING THEM AND GAAAHHHH ITS SO SWEET AND SO JUICY AND SO CRUNCHY AND SOLID

nothing will ever beat the hit of that first cosmic crisp apple tho

gotta hunt down that kid again and tell him what he did to me
