Where’s the tgm pacific rim au??? Where’s the washed up former jaeger pilot Maverick, haunted by the ghost of Goose’s death, dragged back against his will to the frontlines in humanity’s most desperate hour and made to face his old partner’s estranged son, who the government has dug up and brought into all this hoping that maybe they could be drifting compatible??? Where’s Rooster, the reluctant hero, who joined the military, despite never wanting to be what his father was, and does everything in his power to be good but not good enough to be suggested for the jaeger program, and stays a lone wolf because he doesn’t want to be seen as drift compatible with anyone??? Where’s Iceman, a higher up in the jaeger program, who loves his old friend and it kills him to bring him back to this life, against his will, and like this of all ways, who knows exactly how long it’s been since Maverick and Bradley last spoke and has to do it anyway, because humanity needs them??? Where’s Hangman, a navy pilot that’s been dead set on becoming a jaeger pilot but can’t seem to achieve drift compatibility with anyone, because he’s spent to long trying to be the best that he doesn’t know how to work with others and is so used to pushing people away instead of working with them, and it’s his dream to work with someone like Maverick and can’t fathom why Bradley wouldn’t want to????
