Just a quick post. I guess?
So, I stopped checking up on Tumblr about a year ago? I even deleted the app off my phone. I don't even really know why I'm making this post. It's 4:30am right now and I'm watching NCS play Yoshi's Wooly World. Ummm.... How have you all been doing? I hope everything has been going well for you all. Ughhh i fell asleep while sring for chespin- since i know my hunt will be pretty long (hopefully not! it'd be petty cool to get shiny chesping right before my birthday!) did any of the mods sr for a starter,how long did it take?
I can’t count the number of times I have fallen asleep during a Shiny hunt, only to wake up to a dead 3ds because I forgot to put the charge cable in….While I have bred plenty of shiny starters, namely the Hoenn trio pre-ORAS release, I have personally never SR’d for a shiny starter, I usually just try to go for a good nature! It takes some serious dedication to SR, since you have no access to resources like the Shiny Charm and Masuda Method. As with pretty much most hunts, you’ll likely want to find a good media to keep you entertained. Find a good youtuber or twitch streamer you enjoy, it’ll make the hunt far more enjoyable!Everyone from the Shiny Hunter’s Guild wishes you luck on your hunt! I've only soft reset for two shiny starters. One was my Treecko, Zelnite, from Alpha Sapphire. He took several months, but i was hunting him off and on. Second was Zircon, my shiny Totodile from HeartGold. If I had been hunting him on a daily basis, is probably would average to about a month, maybe less, of SR's. I didn't count them while I did those. But I'm currently hunting for the other two Johto starters in my SoulSilver. ✨✨✨✨✨ Good luck on Chespin!!!
