Haurchefant lives AU is so fun. I like to imagine while he's recovering he gets a bit closer with his brothers and begs to be let out from home so they let him show Emmanellain how to do his old job. Emmanellain forgot he knows the camp like a second home and didn't expect him to actually leave camp to help the new recruits.

He IS permanently retired but not completely immobile. If you've seen MHA i imagine his injuries and abilities to work similarly to All Might, who can fight but only for a limited time.

Haurchefant wouldn't mean anything maliciously. He just gets a little bored and knows his way around and if there's a blizzard or something he's like, let me make sure the recruits know what to do. :)

I like to think he and the knights would play cards... and he'd win a lot of the time. So he's teaching Emmanellain not to get swindled out of his good stuff.

As sad as it is I think both brothers get closer to him after the Vault just on account of them getting the fuck scared out of them. They seem to care about him to some degree, if not at least tolerating bare minimum, so I think it'd be nice for them to do more stuff together. :) I think he and Emmanellain would be closest cause I have them at the camp together for 6 months to a year, idk yet.

I'm still in Stormblood so I am just doodling ideas from Ishgard/HW stuff since most of the characters there seem to have an end. But! Pokemon au! Everything i touch turns into pokemon.

I dont use canon breeding rules and egg groups are used very loosely. I'm not looking for species suggestions. >:3c But I hope you enjoy cause I have lots of ideas.

Francel- was stumped really bad. Opted for Budew since house emblem is a rose and I think his in game design works nicely as a Roserade or Roselia.

Haurchefant- this one was trickier. I wanted him to look more obviously like a mix of two Pokemon than just one like his brothers (without being a fusion) and he's the only one in the family not a Lucario. Was originally going to be a Bisharp but a friend suggested Chesnaught and I was sold lol.

Emmanellain- idk man he's your standard Riolu but a bit darker to match his darker hair color. 🤣 Small as a kid but very spoiled. When he evolves I think he would opt to look a little flashier or bulkier with his outfits since he's not an alpha like Edmont or Artoirel.

I haven't doodled them yet but Ysayle is an A!Ninetales, Estinien is an Iron Valiant (evolved from regular Kirlia bc fuck you hes the Azure dragoon), and Aymeric is probably going to be an Aegislash.

Genuinely I feel bad for constantly posting in these tags but Heavensward ruined my life in the best way. Anyway, I'm just kind of doing stuff on my own, I like to imagine that if Haurchefant lives he goes with Emannellain to teach him the ropes at Dragonhead lol. He can't walk well because of his injury but he tries so hard to push himself and make sure his brother is safe. Also his bf in the background thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Hello besties. I am back. I wanted to draw a ref specifically for a personal AU of mine where he lives. He's with my WoL but if you want to take inspo from the design and stuff for whatever reason idm lol.

-Either permanently or temporarily off knight duty. I'm unsure yet. I do think they had to wrestle the knight fit from him and I didn't want to draw those fuck ass coats his brothers have so I found something I thought would look nice. They're items from the game but idk the names.

-Stationed in Dragonhead but his only duty allowed is to help Emmanelain learn the ropes. He's still healing and he doesn't walk well. (Maybe uses a cane? Idk yet)

-He's still always trying to do stuff so his bf Tivar made a small squad to ensure he doesn't go running off to god knows where. Sometimes Alphinaud invites him to visit the Scions or he'll show up with Aymeric.

I needed to design a young Brassius for something but my design skills aren't great. I was going for "emo eccentric art school guy" and based his fit very loosely off Hwei's... I think it changed enough in the end the inspo isn't involved anymore lol
