The Squeak Squad redesigns + my own headcanons and lore for each one of them!

This was made for fun in my free time meawhile im crafting my own kirby oc au/lore ,i been so hyperfixiated with them i had to give them a personal redesing to please my tastes,here ill talk about my own headcanons n lore i been adding to all of them besides the refs finished,keep in mind all the "Nebula event" ill mention multiple times are BEFORE squeak squad and the canon games and how it affected them later ,so have fun reading and hope you all will like it!

I recommend to understand better certain things with Daroach and Doc cause this is my au mixed with kirby ocs to give a read to the profiles of Pérez || Anitta || Paneer

Basic morals of the Squeak Squad!

They have a "no kill" rule and to only use the powers they have to solely to prevent the most cuantity of harm possible and knock out someone as quick as possible,and if there is an inmidiate danger save as many people even who maybe deserve the worst,the squad also does NOT steal properties from the poor or people in need,neither they are interested in highly sacred and important artifacts from societies having the mindset of "such treasures are better to just to be respected and admired from where they are from" ,the squad will steal any of these from other thiefs to give it back to the original owners.

We are starting quick with the squeakers the babies and little children of the squad ! No i did not made a redesing for them cause they are too perfect to me to need a change to fit in my au.....

There is never the same group of squeakers in the ship ; they come and go because the main group gives them up for adoption to proper parents who want a child or takes them to appropriate orphanages; So, although there are many TOO MANY, the number varies, maybe one day you see 30 and tomorrow you might see 50 or 20. There are only 5 squeakers who are permanent members, and they will be other OCs I want to add to the group....

The medium and larger squeakers are the ones who know how to use bombs (the one dressed with green and blue clothes), while the smaller ones (yellow) are usually the ones who discover and sniff out all the secrets to help,but they are the weakest

All the squeaks have tracking chips implanted by Doc to make sure they don't get lost and to know where to find them.

Even though almost none of them can vocalize normal words, they communicate with the main group and among themselves with mouse sounds,they also use their terrible cuteness and baby status to deceive and steal (or at least they try). All the little ones see the older group as their saviors and idols, since all the little ones were found in run-down orphanages, abandoned, or they themselves had sneaked onto the ship to escape a bad home.

Now we have Storo!! My sweet big lady! (yes i hc Storo as a woman)

She is a 26-year-old beaver with immense physical strength and stamina; Primary innate abilities are suplex and fighting, allowing her to pulverize anything if she puts her mind to it even if later her poor hands feel a bit of pain,she is also the one who can carry the biggest chests.

As a hobby, she crafts her own hammers with her teeth as well enjoys making wooden figurines, either for the squeakers or to sell for extra money on any planet they visit

Storo is the shyest and somewhat timid member of the group; Speaking often in a softer tone as her voice can be too too loud, she is as well she is the most gluttonous, enjoying eating contests, especially with Kirby,still she is a bit of a sore loser, crying when she does, though she tries to hold back and not make it a big deal.....

Despite her more passive or calm nature, she trains fervently to proof her worth, also helping Doc test his strongest machines, capable of breaking most of them!

Storo lost her eye and her family when Nebula attacked the first time Pop Star. This is also why she is the most fearful of monsters or conflicts, and she becomes the most distressed if the group (especially Spinni) ventures into danger or disappears for too long.

The turn for a spin with Spinni!!! ( They're canonically genderfluid and i kept it as such but any kind of pronoun is good ! )

Spinni is a kangaroo mouse, hence why their body shape; This is why he's the fastest in the group and jumps the highest and has the innate high jump ability. His passion for the ninja arts has also led him learn said skills,being able to summon shurikens, create smoke bombs, and hide in the shadows thanks to the copy hability.

They're passionate about fashion and being stylish (this last part being canon). He's the one who sews and usually makes the group's outfits and adores alternative clothing, makeup, and creating unusual looks ; Whenever the Squad is stationed on a planet for a while, Spinni likes to open his "little alterations shop" for any damaged clothes you want her to fix, as well as offering piercings and haircuts!

Spinni is the youngest of the main group ( 23 years old), and also the most rebellious, talkative, and the first to pick a fight or get defensive. Daroach is usually the one who pulls his ear to make her stop and likes to position himself in high places, often climbing on top of Storo shoulder or Doc's UFO. (omg an otaku and an a aura farmer....)/J

When Nebula's disaster happened the first time, Spinni lost his tail and right arm, as well as her family; The only thing he still has of them is his scarf, which they protects and carries everywhere, much later Doc build her the mechanical arm you see, where she uses to attack or climb.

Spinni also gets stressed if something happens to anyone in the group,poorly hiding it with how their feet thumps agaisnt the floor and walking in circles.

Now time for our ol' beloved man ,Doc!! Here comes a bigger wall of text...

He is the oldest ( 70 years old) and the one who canonically built the ship and other complex devices like the Mecha Kracko and Yadgaine and he is a mouse of the same class as Daroach,Pérez,Paneer and Anitta , with great innate ESP power focused primarily on lifting and attracting objects and with great force he is able to open very small portals to attract objects from the ship with sufficient concentration, even if they are very far away,but due to using so much of of that power leads him to end up in a grumpy irritated state,prefering more to be lost in his own thoughts and crafting machines or new some short of experiments either in an attempt to improve his quality of life or to use in his favor the copy habilities,the squad of course tried to help him their best with his issues,even if he might reject the help.

This is all due to Doc's physical developmental delay, giving him almost the same body as the Squeakers, except for the limbs he grew over time,is worth to mention his body is paralized to an incident that will be mentioned later; Therefore, since he depends on his inventions for defense, he has highly developed the UFO, Flash, Laser, and Metal abilities, all for protection. Many of these abilities were learned stole from his old ex friend, Pérez.

On every planet he visits, he loves to participate in technological events and drags (against their will) someone from the group along to go to the science or technology museums on each planet they go.

Heavier lore drop :

Long before Nebula, Doc was the main doctor at the school from his ex friend, Pérez,the creator of the triple star and mage that dominated so many copy habilities; At that time, Doc could still move normally and had a normal life having a partner,all of this shattered when Pérez announced the impending catastrophe,Nebula, something that took the planet by surprise, but especially Doc,as it was something Pérez never told even if they were supposed to be close...well everyone except to a squeak called Paneer which Doc already had a certain distrust of him,trying to warn Pérez from how odd the rat was,which ended pointless and gradually eroding their friendship,later on, Doc was right about Paneer, as it was revealed in an incident the rat made he was a hitmann and the existence of two children called Anitta and Daroach.

Despite this, Doc did help Pérez in the end when he needed it to protect the people of Pop star from the calamity and even if many of the ideas worked, the attempt couldn't prevent the tragedy as the power of the dark star showed to be bigger than expected,losing his partner and ultimately left paralyzed due to one of the roofs collapsed on him, leaving him completely dependent on others or his psychic powers to move or float,also leaving Doc somewhat unhinged mentally and constantly on high alert.

Because of this, Doc harbored a deep resentment towards Pérez for "not having done better" and for not having taken better care of Daroach and the other orphaned children (like Spinni and Storo) when they needed him (Pérez didnt meant to,after all he was under immense pressure and had many issues to deal with after Nebula's death as the mice who defeated her,holding more responsabilities than before to take care, in addition of dealing in silence with Paneer's death, without talking em,which also only made things worse between them).

It was Doc who, out of revenge, planned to steal from Pérez and flee the planetwith the young lads who were so adamant to seek a better tomorrow, since the planet was no longer any of them a home for the now formed Squad and even though Doc can be a whole mess , he still cares deeply for the group, seeing them as his grandchildren.

And the last and most important member,our beloved and fancy Cap'n Daroach ❤️

He's 29-30 years old; He's squeak with a great capacity for using ESP powers because Paneer, his deceased 'panpa' made sure he fully developed them ( cause its unusual and seen as unnecessary for Pop star standards,like 80% of the planet is a a peacefull land,why would any normal citizen would develop anything unless its for a necesity like Doc's with his disability ) ; He can teleport long distances, read minds—whether current thoughts or delving into a person's memories—,he is also able to confuse,stupefy someone with a snap for a short time and also make nearby objects float beside him; And if he were to experience a strong emotional outburst, he could paralyze even the greatest threats, like his sister once did.

However, heavy use of this power leads to prolonged headaches and exhaustion,therefore, he also uses some copy abilities to minimize the use, such as ice, fire, and bomb (things learned from Paneer), as well as Whip or Cutter (information he stole from Pérez).

He is extremly curious, loving to delve into libraries for any infor about any kind if treasure or information about the locals on each planet to know how to properly socialize with them,he is that social he made so many contacts and friends throughout the galaxy and is usually the best informed about things or rumors.

Daroach has a carefree personality most of the time and seems to take things lightly, almost to the point of being seen as easily deceived and although he radiates a friendly empathetic and playful-flirtatious attitude with everyone and enjoys make others happy, he remains reserved except with those to whom he confides his secrets and deepest thoughts, always aware of his surroundings and who he associates with; You'll NEVER see Daroach support someone tyrannical or who has killed someone (except Paneer, but shhh,its his Panpa<3)

He was abandoned as a baby and knows how wonderful it is to be accepted,craving so badly to help ""underdogs""" ,as well he hates abandoning anyone or saying any kind of goodbye,he prefers to say "see ya later!~"

Finally, his bell and the staff he carries everywhere don't belong to him; They were given by Paneer,his adoptive father moments before he died in the calamity Nebula brought and although he is aware it's objectively better not to carry those objects to avoid any damage he has a terrible fear of losing sight of em, as they are his last memory ( if someone dares to steal it from him he maaaaybe would go. feral for once in his life <3 and better not talk how broken he would feel if those objects end up destroyed.... ) Due to Nebula, Daroach has a terrible phobia of slimmy things and especially blood; He can tolerate a little bit of normal bleeding, like from a wound, but he tends to look away or dissociate from what he sees to endure the terrible discomfort as well thanks to the dark star he avoids to talk about death.

When Daroach was taken in by Pérez, he felt very much like Annie's (his sister) shadow, since she had been settled into a better life for much longer; Daroach, at that time, was a misfit whom Pérez didn't know how to handle because of the burden he carried with everything that was going on, often leaving him alone ,causing Daro to along side to deal alone with the fact he was missing his actual adoptive father all the time,It was then that he met Spinni, Storo, and Doc, people who were like him in a way,people who others didn't payed the attention they needed and hence a new family started.

Despite this, Daroach doesn't hold a grudge and does regret abandoning his sister (again) and Pérez for their efforts they tried with him,specially for stealing in an attempt from being rebelious and a call of attention the Triple Star; After so many years since that and the events of Squeak Squad , he wants more than ever to talk and resolve the problems he has avoided from his past and to officially be Pérez's son.

A small rambling about death (in a pos way) and my journey so far this year struggling with it...

A good way i been having to control the anxiety (and in a way reduce it) related to death has been about thinking how natural and beautiful death is its in own when its life who make it and seek different ways to view it not as the supposed terror we have to fear but our last watch of all the amazing things we experienced throught before whatever that will happen next

I been feeling more connected with the idea of reincarnation either about karma or the way it is presented in mario galaxy[yes ,a videogame,but its a beautiful way to see it] cause the nihilist idea (or more like,the depressive view of nihilism,cuz the positive n cool one exists) of a void,uuuu depression depression everything dies we are nuuthinnngg is STUPID AF!!!!! Like humans ain't the center of the universe nor as important,we dead ass aren't ,but thinking the universe will not exist ever again is dumb cause how tf did we formed and before that what was there? Like,lobsters,deadass LOBSTERS can technically live eternally if they wanted (or they dont get killed or a disease) to and grow n grow,they literally build for that,or some jellyfishes, LIKE,how damn animals are supposed to be capable of be technically eternal but NOT THE UNIVERSE,ARE WE STUPID? Like sure,we might die,but when something out of comprehension happens, WHO really knows and i find the theories (that are again,just theories) of the """death of the universe""",which is ABSURD, atoms follow a strange, eternal cycle of separation and regrouping into something new,we literally are techinically stardust ain't we?

If, in the lottery of life, the atoms that have brought us to exist today are the ones that have caused us to do so, who can say that we won't do it again? If it's a matter of probability, it's possible. Or don't you see how we are alive today? Of all the combinations and probabilities, you are alive today, and surely, in a very, very long time,after a good while you will be able to return. So... what is there to worry about? Sure we will lose memories if our ''souls'' don't go to a heaven,but ain't amazing to relax knowing you,or 'another you' will be alive?

And with all what i said,my conclusion and also gave me a more....calm mindset is that what i fear is not death itself,but what i truly fear is dying (specially this dang early,im not even 25 yet ) without living MY life the way i wanted,either because i get the stupid idea of caring and neglecting myself for what others want from me or being unhappy in general or the tyrants of our planet trying to destroy us for their disgusting greed and i refuse that shit too! I want to live my life and live it with pride and joy till im hella super old to the point i can turn into dust by the most inconvinient wind!!! And i think thats...thats nice.

Whoever might read this,specially a person like me who is anxious for the most inconvinient things in the planet and is as afraid of death as i been i hope my way to start viewing things can help you to find peace in your mind too,its going to be ok,just remember this life, regarless what will happen next, its yours and yours only,so don't waste it not doing things and good things,show that love to your loved ones while they are here,help others and live your best!

Writing Special Pages for every pre-RTDL Kirby boss! - #8 - Kirby: Squeak Squad

Hi! I really like Kirby. I especially like Kirby's world and cute Special Page pause screens for the newer games. But the older games don't have them, so I made a bunch for every mainline game pre-RTDL!

So I wrote some for all of them, and I'm posting them here, one game at a time. So here you go, I spent a lot of time on them all so I hope you like them. Transcripts and notes below.

STORO: "'EEK!! This pink guy is so small... and fast... I'm so creeped out...! But the boss trusts me to help! Gotta stay calm... remember my breathing exercises... Alright!! Time to squash that puffball and grab that treasure!"

SPINNI: "'Does this bozo really think he's faster than me? Nobody's faster than me! Put some treasure in front of me and I'll outrun a speeding star! I'm the fas- ...H-Hey, wait up, I was talking! That's cheating! Get back here!'"

DOC: "'Readings indicate that the pink fellow has much more power than my cohorts assumed... provoking him would be quite dangerous. How thrilling! I love this job! Forget the treasure - what's more valuable than battle data!?'"

KING DEDEDE: "It doesn't take a genius to tell that King Dedede stole your shortcake. It wouldn't be the first time he's stolen food. Seems that despite all the times he's helped you, Dedede can't help but revert to his selfish ways... Right?"

MRS. MOLEY: "Mrs. Moley has made her home down here in the Underground World since she was little. Over the years she's gotten sick of explorers making a ruckus. Her husband normally takes care of them, but he's out exploring."

KRACKO...?: "That looks like Kracko, but when did he get so... dark and stormy? And if Kracko lives in the sky, what's he doing down in the Underground World? The confusion is frustrating... and Kirby's hunger isn't helping!"

MECHA-KRACKO: "Of course it'd be Doc! An opportunistic theft has turned into a whole excavation since the Squeaks found the Underground World. Doc wants to test how efficient his airborne battle machine is at low altitude."

YADGAINE: "Yadgaine was built to help find the Underground World before the Squeaks realized the chasm they fell down, called the "Navel of the World," is the front door. Doc is now using it as a battle machine to prove it's still useful."

BOHBOH: "A solitary creature, Bohboh rarely gets visitors in this hostile region of the Underground World. They prefer it that way, so they'll scorch any strangers that travel this far. Rude... but to be fair, you did barge into their home!"

DAROACH: "'How persistent! I can't help but root for an underdog... I like you! Unfortunately, little friend, I like treasure more. I've coveted the Underground World's treasures for many years, and you won't stop me from claiming it all!'"

META KNIGHT: "Meta Knight challenges you once more, in the ruins of the Halberd. But... he didn't offer a sword? And- why is the Halberd flying!? For some reason, he's intent on taking this chest far away from Popstar. Take your dessert back!"

DARK DAROACH: "Malnourished by time and cut off from its source, it possessed the first thing it saw. A survival tactic for its kind. Daroach never cared about matters as dark as this... Now he is controlled by a force he cannot understand. Free him!"

??? (1): "Millennia ago, a terrible cosmic force roamed the galaxy, plunging all it touched into darkness. In the early days of Popstar, this force invaded. When all seemed lost and the world had darkened, one hero stood strong."

??? (2): "Once, the hero had defeated a similar foe with his friends. Now, he was alone and near death. With the last of his power, he sealed the heart of that dark force within a magic chest. Both he and the chest fell silent."

DARK NEBULA: "The Dark Matter Clan was, in time, wiped out... but the primordial Dark Nebula, once their ruler, seeks to restore their dominion. Luckily, it's in a weakened state. Hurry! Stop it before it flees, and the Dark Matter Clan is reborn!"

Finally, the last post! This is my final batch of fanmade pause screen mockups. Here are the links to all the other posts: Kirby's Dream Land / Kirby's AdventureKirby's Dream Land 2 / Kirby Super Star UltraKirby's Dream Land 3 / Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards Here's the obligatory recap: I'm making pause screen text mockups for all the mainline pre-RTDL bosses. The project is 103 images in total, and comprises the aforementioned games, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and Kirby: Squeak Squad. Finally we are at the last two games! These were both tough games to cover. Between Amazing Mirror's staggering vagueness regarding the Dimension Mirror and Dark Mind, and Squeak Squad's lack of in-game info surrounding the Underground World, I had to look at a lot of supplementary stuff and ask questions from people smarter than me. The objectives here (just repeating what you already know):

Write text descriptions that feel accurate to Kirby's tone - with levity, humor, and more serious text for the final act. Screens sometimes reference other games.

Make image mockups that feel authentic to the games themselves. To this effect, I made all these mockups in the resolutions of the games themselves, and tried to use appropriate fonts (some of which work better than others).

Include a healthy amount of for-fun worldbuilding and connections to other titles, with an increased emphasis on info from JP scripts and out-of-game info. Some of this is headcanon stuff, but I tried to make it feel like it could come from the games themselves.

Use the average length of a text screen from Kirby: Triple Deluxe and onward as a baseline for text length.

Squeak Squad gets a bad rap, and to be fair I think it's one of the least notable Kirby games. For this game I wanted to really focus on fleshing out and characterizing the Squeaks. Storo, Spinni, and Doc all get text screens for whenever they've spawned into a level, all of them monologues from their POV - Daroach gets a similar screen, which I researched Mass Attack's Daroach dialogue to pin down.

I also was frustrated that Squeak Squad barely acknowledges its Underground World setting in-game, which I actually like and I think it seems to tie into Great Cave Offensive, so I wanted to mention that a lot.

Dark Nebula gets three screens - two for its small form, which you pursue across two screens of platforming, and one for its actual boss fight. Many tend to see Dark Nebula as a successor to Zero/02, given its JP name "Dark Zero," but I prefer to see it as a primordial remnant of an iteration of the Dark Matter Clan that far precedes the Clan we saw in the Dark Matter trilogy. For its backstory I tried to harken to Star Allies and its lore regarding Void Termina and the four heroes who sealed it away in the past.

In general I wanted the Dark Matter mentions/references here (and the Amazing Mirror screens) not to come off as too much like fanwank. I'm hoping they feel natural and Kirby-like.

Fr now,i ADORE the work,the fact you point out important things such as the fact they are underground (which alot of people don't know that fact) ,that Storo is the coward one od the group,Doc stuff with his creations,Spinni's attitude,Daroach rooting for Kirby oujgg even Nebula gets her relation with the Void for the weird marks Termina has on the body,its all so good and well done,i wish it was canon or we get a remake!! 10/10 💖

Something that saddens me about the Kirby fandom is how they tend to be ""afraid"" of portraying King Dedede as how he is??? Giving him a "too softie" version of his personality.

Like, King Dedede is good AND had that softer side, but he isn't that the calm and good-natured personality I usually see how others make him be?

Especially the part about him being so... calm and mentally stable? Like its more than good and ok you wanna do him like that,but i even saw people genuinely thinking he is like that in canon? Which that confuses me ?

Like... King Dedede is and always was and will be the selfish, gluttonous, greedy, lazy, and demanding, with such a huge ego that he's proclaimed himself the "King of Dreamland" when he's really no one's king (well maybe to the waddle dees cuz they do adore him sm) ,he has a "frenemy rival" with Kirby (probably out of envy) just of course over the years we saw him doing a bit more of good than bad,but that part of his ol' time personality is still there.

And it's sad that people seem """afraid""" of that because i tend to see people don't like that much the King's brutish nature, cuz I've always thought that's what gives him his charm,after all beneath it all, he really cares about Kirby if they are in danger,he cares about his servants even if he can be an absolute jerk with how he treats them alot of the times, and he cares about everything staying good,after all,if someone gotta mess with """his land and his arch-frienemesis""" that gotta be him! And thats super cute to me

And even though he's a bully on many (too many) occasions, his heroic side shines through; To me that's where it's shown why the Waddle Dees follow him blindly despite his nature, because in important moments he will do the right thing and show his tender side!

And all of this is not something im taking out of my butt,its literally alot of decriptions of Dedede even the most actual ones

For example the amiibo one " Every hero needs an arch frenemy, and King Dedede is Kirby’s! He calls himself the King of Dream Land, but he doesn’t have a lot of interest in ruling. while the Nintendo today remarks too in the description it has of him as " Mt. Dedede, where he cooks up trouble with his minions; He tries to keep Dream Land safe, and sometimes helps out Kirby in a pinch. Any way you look at it, he has a kind side too"

And cleary in alot of other descriptions and actions of his own in the games remarks more these things,he can be bad and be a troublemaker but he is kind and good deep down and thats what makes him the goat to me <3

Other thoughts but to the anime version:

It also saddens me to see so much hatred for the anime version of King Dedede in the fandom nowadays , i saw alot of people calling him "inaccurate" when... that's how King Dedede really was back then?? And at least how i see that version to me it's the second closest to the games, after the novel version (which is 99% more similar to the current Dedede,to not say is basically the same guy tbh...)

The King Dedede of the anime is exactly like DDD was at the beginning of the franchise, only the comedy and pacing of the anime brought out his worst sides because that's how the series was structured BUT even being a tyrant, there were moments where you could see that he... had tender moments or that brought out his more "childish" or endearing side, like the episode that references the Jurassic Park movie.

Like,genuinely, until DDD decided to do evil because the villain told him he could beat kirby with the dinosaours, he only wanted to bring dinosaurs cause he had extreme joy because of it, and you see him at the beginning crying like a little kid angry that because of how excited he is about it.

And if small things like that weren't enough, there's the meteor episode of the anime. What does DDD do when he sees that everyone is supposedly going to die without any hope of salvation? The first thing he does is go and build a park for Kirby to enjoy in his last moments! HIS ENEMY, whom he has tried to destroy throughout the entire series,i honeslty think the Dedede is like the big unattented kid (coughMANCHILDcough) that got so SO jelaous of the new ,more cute,much better and kinder new popular kid

Although this is just my own theory, it was noticeable that the anime writers wanted to give some short Dedede a redemption arc, especially since many elements of the original anime plot, like Yamikage, Sirica, Meta Knight, etc., were abandoned for some reason to stretch out the episodic humor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's clear they left a huge gap of content that was needed and Dedede was also affected because they didn't develop him further,which is sad,but again my own theory,call it biased or not xD

And for me,i think the anime version of Dedede should really be viewed not as "he's a really a villain, we have to hate him" but more like "This Dedede isn't our Dedede yet, and this is how the king was, especially at the beginning of the franchise" specially considering the anime was out in 1999(?)-2000

AND AGAIN as i said,is not bad if you consider him in a more softer side,is just,not my cup of tea and thats totally ok too,i just wish people enjoyed more his rough sides too,i love this guy being loud and angy sjsj x,D

When it comes to the Kirby Anime we can all agree that everyone from it would adore Game Dedede- he's really chill friendly while Anime dedede is just an asshat (I love him but its true) But I don't think we talk enough about how everyone from the anime would likely DETEST Game Meta Knight. Anime Meta knight is chill, he's kirby's dad/mentor that knows a lot of shit, is generally really damn helpful, and is super competent to the point where its kinda funny sometimes. He's pretty much everyone's adopted dad/uncle with war ptsd and we love him. Game Meta knight is Batshit insane. like yes he's calmed down over the years, but this man is FERAL. he does not know how to chill or relax regardless of how better he's gotten at it. Super star Ultra he literally looked at how peaceful dreamland was, thought that no one would be prepared for anything and were too lazy, and decided TO CONQUER THE WHOLE-ASS KINGDOM BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS LAZY AND CHILL. Kirby defeats him and Destroys the halberd, saving the day, and what does meta knight do? he goes "Hmm kirby beat me, meaning he's stronger, and destroyed my ship, therefore I must get stronger by ALSO DESTROYING MY OWN SHIP!" Meanwhile the meta knights are in the background like "Nova damit sir we just rebuilt herrrrr" He fucking proceeds to destroy his own ship and beat the shit out of his own knights. (it was prob just friendly duel BUT WHY DESTROY THE FUCKING HALBERD YOU JUST REBUILT IT) He goes and collects all the stuff needed to summon Galactic Nova, which can pretty much grant any wish, and what does he wish for? to become stronger? to have a mask that never breaks? to repair the ship that HE JUST DESTROYED AGAIN? No. this man looks at nova and is like "Hmm I must become stronger, so now I SHALL SUMMON A MAN I HAVE NEVER MET THAT IS KNOWN FOR DESTROYING PLANETS AND BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HIM!" "Sir isn't that dangerous for popstar?! and everyone else?!" "I AM GOING TO FIGHT HIM AND STEAL HIS TITLE!" Planet robobot happens, and this man immediatly yeets into the battle just to get his ship shot down AGAIN. doesn't seem to give a shit and just continues running into danger, then fucking GALACTA KNIGHT SHOWS UP AGAIN, and his only thought is "YES I WILL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU A SECOND TIME" Star allies roles around, and while he IS possessed, my man gets so fucking pissed off that you went directly to him instead of grabbing the sword, that he jumps down and fucking PUNTS THE SWORD because he's THAT PISSED. In forgotten land he seems mostly chill, but then you read his figure and realize that he fucking fought gorimondo at LEAST THIRTY TIMES. Meta knight saw that big gorilla and thought "YES TIME TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HIM AND GIVE HIM PTSD!" theres probably more examples but like, the only games I've actually gotten to play are forgotten land, star allies, and a couple spin offs, so these were just the ones off the top of m head. The point I'm trying to make is that Anime Dreamland would not fucking survive game meta. he would show up and chaos would immediately follow. everyone there would consider kidnapping game dedede and replacing their own dedede with him until they inevitably realize that Game Meta Knight and Dedede are a pair that should not be separated and then they all immediately throw that idea out the window because like hell are they dealing with the feral insanity that is Game Meta Knight.
