2nd Draft
Kevin was a clown in a big circus. He grew up in circus, and lost his parents when he was small. He has no friends, and, indeed, nobody want to be friends with a clown. He just slept, ate, and performed everyday and led a humdrum life. Kevin amused others every day, and made fun of himself. But he was bleeding inside, and hide the pain and loneliness under the joker masks.
One day, a little wandering bunny ran into Kevin and started to talk to him. The bunny said he strayed into the car for transporting animal actors, and came to the circus by mistake. They were getting on well quickly and at that night Kevin start to feed the bunny.
In the days after that, Kevin played with the bunny all the time when he was free. The bunny would never make fun of him because he was a clown and wore strange clothes. He also suggested Kevin try some dress other than clown’s. He told Kevin to live his own live, and, gradually, Kevin kept those words deeply in his heart.
However, live of a rabbit is short. Time passed quickly, and the bunny was getting older and older. Gradually, he couldn't move and jump as quickly as before, and started waiting for death. One day, the circus owner saw the bunny, and caught him easily. He put him into a cage, and attempted to feed him to the lion. Kevin found the bunny in the very nick of time, and helped him escape from the cage. But at that moment, the bunny knew that his death was coming, and his decided to tell Kevin the truth and the secret of himself. Actually, he was not getting on the car by incident. He used to be a "magic prop" of a magician, and just performed by listening to the instructions of magician everyday with no fun. The bunny knew his live was not long, and he thought that he couldn't bear this boring life anymore. That was why he escaped. Then he saw Kevin who was similar to him, and he started trying to help him.
"I had a great time with you before the time to leave," he said in the end.
Finally, this little adorable bunny died in his arms, and Kevin burst into tears.
After that, Kevin decided to leave the circus. Because of the influence of bunny, he didn’t want to be a silly clown anymore. He wanted to go out and got new job to“live his own life”.
Kevin now becomes a magician, performing magic (which learn from the bunny) along the street, and no longer wears funny costumes to make the audience laugh. Instead, he gets applause. Although he doesn't earn much, he feels happy and lives a good life.

Films with Limits
Nine Lives is the movie of Rodrigo Garcia, which was released in 2005. It generally tell stories about 9 females, and each takes over 15 minutes. They are individual short films, but they still related to each other somehow. (Like the officer in the first story is the father in Holly's story). Rodrigo Garcia shot them specially with no cut, and just move the camera place to place. For example, in the first story, the main character Sandra was serving a sentence, and she is also a mother. In this short film, Sandra worked hard on her job in prison and hoped to get out as quick as possible to meet because she really miss her daughter. The camera turned back and forth in order to shot certain person, and it also followed Sandra as she walk to talk to her daughter. The position of the camera and how does it move must be carefully calculated, because scene have to switched quickly, and Sandra was walk though jail with small space. On the story aspect, it also has to be well planned to make sure there are something happening at each moment to prevent the viewer getting bored. The camera was always around the character. That may bring the viewer a similar experience to the character. I think the use of the limit is really successful, and I indeed feel the hopelessness of Sandra as she go through a long process to meet her daughter but finally she can't talk to her. The long time shot technique documents and shows how complicated process Sandra has to conquer to meet her family members. This limitation makes the story telling become more real. Also I think the quick shake of the screen while Sandra ran to fought with the officer really add the emotion of nervous to the atmosphere.
