Bleeding Heart.

flower is the symbol of SAD. When I listened the song Bleeding Heart of Regina Spektor, I wanted to paint this flower. Because I got SAD too, so I like that song which spoke true to my heart so much.

For my friend’s birthday, I tried painting the sea at my hometown based on some painting tips on youtube. But this painting had something which is not logical. I painted the sea at sunset time. However, my hometown’s sea looks to the East. So I can’t see the sun when sun sets : )).

I painted this for 2018 year begin-a-new-year writing(in this case, it's painting). I painted camellia flowers. When we drank amazake near the temple, we saw a camellia tree who grew out of the narrow space covered by wall. My friend said that poor her, why they planted her here, while I thought she certainly had a beautiful spirit. That’s why I decided to paint her.

Bye bye Summer

This is a flower vase of a café. The café has tea and cake changed depending on the season.

The time is the end of Summer. I draw the vase when I’m in the café, eating a houjicha cake and waiting for my friend. That one week is one of the most peaceful time in my life. I guess I can’t go back to that time. But next time when I come back to that café, will they still have houjicake? And will my friend still come with me?
