king and subordinate
There were a few choice thoughts Hakuryuu would keep to himself, until he deemed it necessary– if he did at all. There was a point to putting on this act. He’d be damned if someone would break it down so easily.
“The pleasure’s all mine, I’m sure,” his reply is courteous, princely even (though maybe that was a little laughable), and his own hand extends to return the brief handshake.
And the request makes sense, his agreement noted but a curt nod of his head as he turns on his heel and motions the Fanalis along behind him. “Are you aware of how long you’ll be staying?” Hell if Hakuryuu knew.
He probably did, but it hadn’t been considered important information. Besides, small talk was.. good?
He chuckled softly, trying to make himself look relaxed. If the other had caused so much trouble before, there was no doubt that he’d be able to do it again. He wouldn’t let himself trust so easily, but he thought he could still have a bit of fun as he held up his wall.
“No need to be so polite to me. I can assure you that I’m not anyone of that much importance.”
“I do believe that I heard we’ll be staying for about a month? Conferences like these don’t happen very often, so I think they’re planning on taking their sweet time. I hope that it doesn’t bother you too much.”
