boogey Update

sorry this is so delayed you can imagine this last week has been not great for me but we took him to the vet first thing on monday and got him on phenobarbital & as far as we can tell it is helping IMMENSELY - he hasnt had a seizure at all since tuesday. he is much livelier now.

he almost certainly has brain damage though & he seems to be at least partially blind (bumps into things very very often). we have him in a bathroom with a camera for monitoring

the situation is much less urgent now than it was before and im feeling a lot better about his prognosis but the fact he needs to see a neurologist (and that is going to be expensive) has not changed, and we are paying for his medicine now in the meantime. we are happy to take care of him but he is not the only pet we have who is on medication so, again, if anyone is capable of donating or spreading the word to help ensure we can keep him on his medication it would mean the world to me

hey guys i literally have never done this before but i truly truly feel desperate in a way i never have before. our 3 month old kitten has been having cluster seizures, every 12 hours in the last two days. ive watched him have three. we took him to the emergency vet but they cant do the exams he needs, theres a very real possibility well have to take him to multiple vets and i already know its going to get pricey and i just cant afford it on my own.

im trying to write this in as non-guilt trippy a way as possible but please, if you can at all, please help me. please at least reblog. i need to get him to someone who can help as soon as possible because every 12 hours that passes is another seizure. im prepared for the worst but i want to give him every chance i can.
