Eyes are the window to our soul.
When Superman needed a boat ride to cross the river .
Lucid Dreams
The magic of photography lies in the ‘perspective’ and to an extent in it’s beautiful strangeness. Two photographs taken years apart sometimes have a connection.
Thousands of miles away from the last photograph, the tranquil waters of Inle lake in Myanmar are peppered with boats and fishermen like this one. The colour of his Tshirt took me back to the last photograph.
Inle lake, one of my best trips of all time.

Darkness blurs predawn and the colours of stillness touch the soul.

Lucid Dreams
Lucid dreams, am I dreaming now or was I dreaming when I made this photograph ?
Do I wake up into a dream or I fall asleep while dreaming ?

Saigon nights
Timing couldn’t have been better. Made this photograph on the streets of Mumbai many years back.
While I was pointing my camera towards the main cast , the seniors were resting. Any chance of a portrait ? and she obliged 🙏
Portraits and stories from Ladakh.
I have always loved capturing portraits in monochrome especially when two frames are just a smile apart.
As we finished shooting at the Basgo Monastery in Ladakh, the care taker of the ruins nearby was curious to look at my camera and I was intrigued by the narrative of his face.
The two frames are just about a couple seconds apart , couldn’t decide which one was better. Hence posting both, let me know out of the two which one is your favourite.
Just before twilight , time for some reflection. As the days go by the observer continues his journey ...........towards stillness.
Ladakh .....Ladakh.
Only if photographs made by mere mortals could do justice to your beauty.
