Chita's a pro wrestler in her off hours, for the "underground" league, and is pretty damn well known in those circles.  To the point where her fights get advertised around the ship, and her face has been plastered on the big screens before.

on my end of things at least, no one on auroris "canonically" speaks english.  all of their dialogue is translated, and i'm gonna continue to not use the latin alphabet.

it's just more interesting to me.  : p

quick run through of rpg au shockwaves in space chars

chita is pretty basic "brawler" class physical damage dealer, using wrestling moves and whatnot.  she gains bonus lightning damage at later levels, and all attacks have a low chance to stun.  her main special attack is "lichtenberg strike" where she launches herself into the air and body slams a single target from a great height, causing massive damage, with a chance to hit adjacent foes with more lightning damage.  she gains lots of bonus damage from team combos.

shilo is a sorta tricky sharp shooter that uses a crossbow, and can be built either high utility or high damage with either trick shots or steadier aim.  specials are "web bolt" which causes a unique status effect "entanglement" in order to disable the target, which can be prolonged if shilo targets the affected foe again, should the foe not beat a saving throw (can also be removed with slashing damage, ie someone cutting the net with a sword).  the other is "dead eye" which almost never misses and has an incredibly high chance to crit, and lowers the target's armor when it does.  steady aim is pure physical damage, while trick shots has various elemental damage.

wren is a high risk, high reward warlord with a quarterstaff.  whenever he attacks he grants the party a buff on hit, and he has high attack and high defense, however he pulls incredibly high agro, giving the impression that he is on the front lines in order to inspire his troops, making him a target.  additionally, should he fall in battle, the party gains an immediate debuff lasting for a set amount of time, or until he is revived, whichever comes first.  he gains fire damage at higher levels.  his special is "enkindler's example" in which he burns the enemy's field to the ground, causing them damage at the same time, and removing any field effects that may be present, though this may boost fire aligned enemies.  he also has a secret passive called "crom's rebuke" which comes into play in very specific situations.

i really wanted as balanced of characters as i could muster, and these seemed to fit in well.  i'll draw them all soon enough.
